The sounds from hitting the spots do not mesh with the music--they're just noise on top. The game mechanics design are that of any simple indie or internet title. The theory of the game is interesting, and it is kind of exciting to play along to the tempo of the music. There are a few different ways to play the game, but the game itself is pretty limited in what it can do. I like the Portal 2 tie-in. 3/10.

Way too high of a difficulty spike without teaching you how to deal with it. I'm sure there are resources out there that will show you how to get better at it, but they should be in the game. It didn't even keep me playing it longer than Eufloria. The only thing keeping it from being worse than Eufloria is the art design. 2/10.

When "Psychonauts" got a high-def release for PC, I read the reviews and bought it on sale. I didn't realize just how awesome it was going to be. This is the best platformer I've ever played, second maybe only to Banjo-Kazooie and DK64. It is much funnier and better produced than either, with writing that will reach all age groups. I initially didn't like the visual design when it originally came out on the X-Box, but now I realize just how inventive every tiny detail of the models and animation is. The music is ear-wormy, and the voice acting is top-notch. I haven't finished the game yet, partly because I've missed some of the PoNR achievements (a disappointment), some of the collectibles get annoying, and because one of the mini-games for one achieve is the single hardest part of the game that I don't enjoy replaying. It keeps the quality high up past the 30 hour mark...go buy it, you won't shelve this one for a long time. 9.5/10.

I do not play MMORPGs, so it's special when I say I play Spiral Knights. It's kept extremely simple, which makes it a great casual game that I can pick up and drop off without intense involvement. This is a good pizza-and-mouse game, meaning you can play one-handed due to the simplicity of the controls. It's a nice, calm, relaxing game, with stretches of tension and frustration. It's FtP, so there's limits on how much you can do in a 24 hour span, which kind of helps keeps me from seeing the limitations of the campaign missions. The skirmish missions are always different, but to clear a campaign, you must fight the same enemies on the same map. It has a difficulty spike in some areas. I love the visual design, and the music is an awesome combination of eight-bit and chill. Some of the collecting and trading aspects are difficult, as it isn't always easy to find someone who will buy what you want, even though it is extremely easy to buy items from others at the sub-ten tiers. 8.5/10.

"Cogs" was a good 2 hour experience. I gave up after that, when the puzzles started to get too hard for my brain and became long stretches of random clicking to get the solution. I turned off the music because it stinks. The visuals are fine, and the animations are okay. I like the lolcats localization. The best indie title I've played in a looong time. 6/10.

If you're into button mashing grinds, with horrible continuity errors (within the game), terrible collisions, and awful voice acting, this is your cup of radioactive super-tea. Otherwise, you're better off reading a real comic book. 3/10.

This game....aiiiee. Okay, so it's like sideways Tetris but without the catchy Soviet Union beats. Instead, all you get is faux indie art (it's okay), story, and music with all of the worst gameplay elements of a crappy indie title (meaning all of them). This game demonstrates LucasArts can't make a good game without the words "STAR WARS" in the title. It is all luck based on whether or not you will get the thing you need to get out of the time-constricted puzzle you're in caused by the fact that stupid Sophia won't stop walking unless she runs into a wall. But there's only one part that you really want: "NUKES!!! JUST GIVE ME MORE NUKES, MAYBE THAT WAY I'LL BE ABLE TO BLOW UP SOPHIA AND HER STUPID DEAD GRANDMA!!!" 3/10

1/10. This is a bad game. Take all of the worst aspects of every indie game you've played and you might come close to this game. The art is cheap junk that the guy probably found on Google Images and the sound effects are just the guy making the noises with his own voice. The controls are unintuitive until you change the key bindings, and it's boring. You can find better stuff on Kongregate, or maybe by clicking those spam ads on websites you visit while you have AdBlock turned off. STAY AWAY!!!!*

*unless you want the Steam achieve that will give you a worthless coupon, which you can get by standing on a tree branch while it wiggles back and forth due to the awful physics engine.

I recommend you buy a good space conflict sim, like Tie Fighter, Wing Commander, Battlefront II, or Freelancer. NOT this one. 2/10. The character models stink, the stuff you can talk to people about stink, the difficulty spike is a near-vertical line and the tutorials barely tell you anything, the controls are incomprehensible, and worst of all, WORST OF ALL, even though the poorly implmented trading scheme exists, THERE ARE NO HATS!!!!!!!!! D:<
