Very toxic community. All credit to Psyonix they ban people pretty rapidly if they are reported, but there is only so much they can do. Even the pre-made chat messages are used in a toxic way. I would say 7/10 games contain some form of toxic behaviour that ruins the game for others. Teammates are usually more toxic than opponents. It is not uncommon for teammates to try to help the opponent team by scoring own-goals or hitting their own team's cars. I've played for over 700 hours but I've had enough of it now

This is a great game, but the community lets it down sometimes. It is rare to queue with 4 other players that all have microphones and play the game properly. Most people do not have microphones, and some that do just shout abuse all game. If you can get past that, then this game is great fun!
