If you like Sisyphus love being doomed to repeat the same task over and over again - is this the game for you.

Resource management is expected - but on multiple attempts I have found myself locked out of advancing because the resource I need I get a bad RNG roll on get no resource and lose crew+morale. Eventually I cannot go on because I lack any means to get to the resources I need OR I get a bad RNG roll and so get nothing. The game is unforgiving in this sense. Which maybe its the authentic delta quadrant experience but does not make for an enjoyable kind of challenge for me.

More hours in and I can only apolgise to whomever I offended on this dev team because I would very much to not fail literally every roll. I can only conclude its intentional because the marker will be safely nestled in the green, only for it to say failure on the screen. So clearly I was wrong and for that I'm sorry.

The Delta Quadrant is cruel and unforgiving but this game also has a strangle hold on me because I cant not play it if only to demonstrate to my friends that I am being punished by someone or something for the hubris of thinking that luck can turn around.

"I wish the writers had written this version of voyager" - a direct quote as Tom Paris (ace pilot I'm told) died doing what he apparently did best, piloting

If you find like I did that you have to restart your game a few times to try and get a viable run out. You'll get the pleasure of having the same tutorials pop up as though its your first time playing the game.

I want to enjoy this game, Voyager is a great series and a game built on getting out of the delta quadrant sounds so fun. This game is not that though in its current state.

Early Access Review
A promising start for a fun medieval city builder - does have a bit of a learning curve due to the early access nature of it I suspect but its still a very enjoyable game!

Until they sort server issues dont bother. I havent even been able to login to the game - Servers are always overloaded. Shame because it seems like everyone who actually plays it has a great time. But actually getting in to play is the challenge.

I hate rogue likes, this is the first one I've enjoyed. The dialogue and variety from spells alone make it a good game to pick up when you've got some time to kill. Highly recommend!
