Runs fine for me with little or no problems, though I do not keep FPS meter on at all times. I look forward to mods to make the game more "my own," but I don't feel like mods are strictly necessary this time around to fix any issues with the game. When CS first launched, you couldn't even edit the terrain, so just that is a massive step up from the original.

It's a fun game, but has many bugs. Honestly, it was sort of expected. CDPR has mostly released games with problems at launch historically but has always worked to improve them after release so I'm sure this will be the same. If something changes with my time in the game I'll update my opinion, but I figured I'd get in on the wave of people who have no business giving reviews for games based on their 20 minutes of gameplay.

Also, I had a guy call me an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AFTER I murdered him so hard that his head became permanently stuck in the concrete of Night City. He was so angry that he refused to die, constantly taunting me with insults about my parentage and sexuality, even though he had no visible head. His name is now Blockhead Barry now, and he is now my most bitterest of rivals.

*UPDATE 11/24/22 (Obligatory Autumn Sale Review Update* This review has aged pretty well.

An improvement over Crusader Kings 2 in almost every way. If you couldn't get past the steep learning curve of the first one, maybe give this one a try, it's a lot more user friendly. I do miss some of the information displays that CK2 had that seem to be lacking in this one, but it could be I just haven't found them yet. Nothing that is game breaking, but advanced stuff to help see what was going on at a glance. Just getting used to things being in different places than I've been used to for years more than likely.

I am enjoying it enough at this point that I've already started a savings for the wonderful DLC that will be coming our way for years to come.

I am reviewing Minion Masters.

It is free and while I play it I don't hate it.

This is the end of my review.

I'm reviewing this game for the Grand Prix event.

It's a game I'm playing because I am currently enjoying it. Maybe you would as well. Don't let other people make decisions for you.

This is the end of my review. Good day.

It's a game. I'm only doing this for the badge for the steam sale. This is what happens when you tie these things to other things. The game is very good. Now where's my effin' badge?

So far the only bad thing I've experienced is the lack of Ron Perlman in the intro.

I enjoy it. Could it be better? Of course! It would be great to have more stuff to do, but I mean, really, how often do you find a game that you enjoy and say to yourself "Man, that was fun, glad it's over!"

If you enjoy Banished or games of it's ilk, you'll like Planetbase. If you're the type of person where once you've unlocked everything you feel like you're finished, than maybe wait for Planetbase to get like, Steam Workshop support or something (if that ever happens). As it stands, you can unlock all the buildings in your first colonly in about four hours with maybe 50 colonists, but there's so much more room on the planet.

There are some glaring rough spots, though. I've seen colonists walk miles outside the colony and die from lack of air because of goofy pathfinding. At close to 300 colonists, I seem to constantly get attacked by groups of nine or more hostile intruders, which end up killing a bunch of people before I can stop them. The intruders at this point feel like deathclaws from Fallout Shelter.

Anyway, like anything else, if you like this sort of thing, you'll like Planetbase. If you don't, you won't.

I should have known how annoying this would be from the start of the un-skipable intro. I may not have given the game a lot of time, but it's already too much time that I will never get back. My great grandchildren have had THEIR lives shortened by how annoying this game is. Well... game might be awesome, but I'll never know because the presentation is so bad it drove me to severe drug abuse. It's that sort of forced funny that just stops being funny and is just annoying, but to a level that I have never before experienced. It's like they got on the internet and found the worst cheesy comedy routines and put them in a blender, and that was the script for this game.
