Undertale is that kind of game that best experienced fully blind. Totally recommended, and it's cheaper than most games anyway.

If you liked interactive experience as an art, you'll love this. Experience doing a detective work on a crappy 90s computer. Use physical notebook (not included) to gather clues and assemble facts. Some might say it's too short too justify the 6 dollars price. It is about two hours long to beat so buyers beware.

One of the rouge-like that started rouge-like genre boom in 2011 (besides Spelunky, lol). Oh 2011-2012, the time when we're a budding programmers in college. We're trying to find our way of life, thinking that rogue-like is the best genre suitable for indies to make because of the smaller scope therefore less budget. Little did we know that game development is generally harder than we think and need more commitment. We graduated college afterwards, and quit game development.

Oh yeah, the review, this game is great but you might wanna buy the rebirth version if you haven't bought this. I'm talking to all of you who bought the game on a bundle and forgot it, yeah YOU, what are you doing? Why are you not playing this awesome game?

While I really respect the "interactive experience" type of video games, I would not recommend this game. Having played the original game and watched the original animation, I feel that this game did not add anything that may worth 3 dollar. It misses the point of why it made as a game instead of just an animation. Playing this game evokes the same feeling as watching the animation. There is limited sense of agency for the player, often I feel like I have to do the same thing as the original animation does to progress the game. Play time feels really short, but it was advertised on the store description, so buyers beware.

On the other hand the animation is really done great, and it feels so great to touch and move things. And it should be, given the original creator is an animator and this game was originally created for mobile device.

I suggest to buy this game if you really want to support the creators or really bored and had spare 3 dollars, otherwise just watch the original animation.

So where do we start? Let's see....
This is a schmups where EVERYTHING BLOWS UP
STARS ARE EVERYWHERE IT'S BLINDINGLY BEAUTIFUL
YOU LIMIT BREAK AND KILL EVERYTHING THEN DOUBLE LIMIT BREAK AND STARS ARE BURSTING OUT OF EVERY OF YOUR ENEMY ORIFICES
AND HAVE I TOLD YOU YOU CAN COLLECT BILLION UPON BILLION OF STARS??!!????!?!

Seriously it's good fun and feel rewarding every seconds. The stages are short but there's a good degree of replayability. There are two kind of difficulties: Novices which is easier and not punishing for newcomer of this genre (mind you that it is still hard for me to complete this with no continue at all) and Arcade which is (I think) regular arcade difficulty. This is the kind of game that you play at the end of the day to cool down (while still provide challenge) for 30 minutes or so. Get it now, get it discounted, just buy it whenever.

Just your usual direct-the-automatic-npc-to-goal-using-available-items puzzle. While the huge amount of item types makes huge amount of possible puzzle gameplay, one could argue that it doesn't add to the genre. However, it's a good mobile port with shortcut key and has level editor. Buy it when you run out of puzzle game.

Seen from its overall construction, Dysfunctional Systems wants to be respected and so it well earn my respect. Storywise, it can be seen that its creator spends much time crafting the world setting, it's interesting and mildly engaging me to find out more detail on world background. Also the art and music add to the atmosphere which shows that this game is made by so much care.

For a visual novel that currently planning for episodic release, I saw this game as a proof of concept of the direction they want to take for their next installment. If they don't do anything wrong and stray from this direction, consider me sold for the next episodes.
