for those who already love the monster prom formula, this is just more of the good! it doesn't feel as difficult as the first one, acting more like monster roadtrip in its stat management system where you aren't constantly tested and thrown to the wolves, only doing so for key moments. plus if you're playing a regular game or a long game (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) you get to pick blind gift boxes and either keep 'em or give them to another player. it's like tossing a live pipe bomb at someone except it results in seeing everyone in fursuits or randomizing stats or hearing a live studio audience instead of blowing up. or it does blow up! very fun times all around!

this game somehow made me like liam as well, which is a miracle in of itself. doug forever nr 1 though

I'm not really one to write reviews very often, but this game really is something special.

Everhood is a game that feels almost eldritch in its expanse, infinite possibilities upon infinite possibilities, offering philosophical discussions about the nature of life inbetween light-hearted fun. And then, you unravel what it's about. And you begin to understand. It's an experience, an experience with wonderful music and hypnotizing visuals.

Maybe it's a little weird to say it's helped me come to terms with things in my life that I didn't want to face, but... I don't know. I'm sitting here ready to tear up thinking about it again.

Go in blind. Don't read about it, don't watch videos about it, just trust everyone else when we say this is something you have to try.
