Early Access Review
TL;DR Increasingly difficult and inaccessible for PC Users ESPECIALLY those with disabilities.
An out of touch dev team, who couldn't care less about the communities legitimate means
Zuckerburg suck up approach, Clinging to PCVR users by a thread.

This Is VR's best mainstream hope at the moment and the dev team have been actively ignoring its desperate needs for years. Today they've pushed forward to deprecate Quality of Life (QoL) 3rd party mods and other features, knowing full well the negative impact it will have on the community. They seemingly do not care about the player base and social communities this game hosts. From friends who are vision impaired to those who are immobile, VRChat on its own does not do enough to accommodate them, and seemingly never will. VRChat is heading towards a Meta focused platform and is prepared to leave PC VR Behind.

The dev's simply no longer care, and its genuinely upsetting to see people treat their product and community with such disrespect. I don;t understand how they as VR Players and as people could be this out of touch.

The dev team was kind enough to respond to my Positive review so i sincerely hope they recognise this one.

For the atmosphere and challenge of this game to work well it needs to be truly open world. The new Levels and limits imposed by making the game android compatible has taken a serious bite out of what made it great.

Please reintroduce an open world.

OLD REVIEW BELOW

TL;DR: 9/10 Roadside Picnic in VR, Good hunting Stalker!

Into the Radius is not just a thrilling VR "experience", it is a fully fledged zone of horror.
Any fans of Roadside-Picnic-them-ups like STALKER and Metro will appreciate the tone and atmosphere of the game as well as the classic desolate soviet charm. The Tarkov like game play loops are fun and challenging and you are forced to adapt your method and tactics to finding artifacts and defending yourself against anomalies as you progress to ever more dangerous areas that edge further and further away from the safety of your exit point.

Whilst Graphic fidelity Doesn't hold up to Half Life: Alyx, they share the same intense sense of atmosphere, where any door, tree or bush could be hiding a potential threat.

The gun-play is engaging and does its job very well, with your attention to ammo and magazines being critical. Condition of equipment also plays an important factor with jams and wear, and there's nothing quite like finally making it back to shelter and cleaning your TT-33 after a terrifying run in the zone.

For a VR title, the price may seem steep but Radius offers a full game and virtual world to explore which very quickly justifies its cost.

If you're looking for an open world challenge with atmosphere and that STALKER nostalgia, you won't be disappointed with Into The Radius.

A Brilliant and versatile expierience for a space game.
You can kick back and play what is essentialy euro truck space simulator in a 1 to 1 model of the milky way,
Or go on a tirade of brutal military excursions shaping the political landscapes of different systems.
You can go out there and find a never discovered before star system and have your name permanantly inscribed in the games history.

Ship customisation is pretty vast and integral to how you play the game, and the economy is pretty accsesible and alive enough so that, if you play smart, you don't really end up grinding much.

Amazing lore and scifi astehtics with heavy references to scifi legends like 2001.

Let alone a great community of players to boot, although if that's not your thing, the game practically supports a limitless 100% singleplayer mode.

Would definately reccomend grabbing this title, especially with the horizons DLC to become a free update at the end of october and with a vast fps eva DLC in production on the way.

An absoloute money grab at this point, theyre killing single player, and now its turning into a complete Microtransaction game, theyve stooped down to the low that the freemium mobile game developers dwell at. Dont waste the money on this game anymore!
