I haven't been able to play this game in ages due to covid, but man i sure hope to host a superspreader event and have some people over for it again soon.

As a new player this game is quite rough. This game contains a lot of intricacy and is not something i would consider easy to learn, but i personally enjoy the challenge.

Tactical isometric tank/mech game where everything can get blown up. Tall mechs can shoot over cover, low tanks have a lot more cover to hide behind and strafe out for a quick damage burst.

The game is fun solo but feels lacking, it shines in multiplayer. Grab some friends or join a public match and hope the host didn't pick a bad custom map.

It's more of the same in the best way possible.

The UI takes some getting used to, but once you learn how to make it work the game opens up into a beautifully crafted and super in depth game. The minimal graphics let so much happen if you're willing to read the generated text from each encounter. Every fight can cripple your people, and you have to nurse them back to health with possibly permanent de-buffs, until you gain enough research to replace organic parts with enhanced bio-mechanics.

SOOOO many mods, some add some excellent content, some break the game with how overpowered it can make you or the enemies, all of it is fun in the right situation.

It's not as polished as some other puzzle games, but it's fun.

Saw there was a hug update for the game, saw that the DLC cost $14, instantly re-accepted i wasted my money on this trash heap after spending 400 hours in the mod.

Comment if i'm wrong, but i was burned so badly at how long everything took to get going. This popping back up feels like a scam, but I've seen games come back from the depths before.

It's a little rough around the edges at the time i'm writing this, but its a very fun level of difficult. There are many different ways to handle the enemies, RNG will make or break you, but you can always lead enemies into hazardous environments and try to cling to life till you can find what you need to succeed.
