Do not buy this game. They made the movement a lot clunkier and slow and pretty much completely removed glory kills. You will spend the majority of the time in this game waiting to parry slow attacks so you can counter OR opening your map every 2 seconds to try to collect every collectible and secret in order to even upgrade your guns.

TLDR: Gameplay has been slowed down, made clunkier, and is SIGNIFICANTLY less fun than the previous installments. I can't even bring myself to finish the game now. Playing it has been a drudge.

Get prepare to die edition instead. This version is an expensive port that isnt worth your money. The original game was good for its time, this is just trash. They literally just turned the brightness up and started charging 40 bucks for it like it was a new triple A game

The old PUBG was great. Free to open lootboxes, it ran pretty good on most systems, and there was no battle pass. The original map with all the original weapons and the ability to fight in the lobby and mic spam is what made this game so great and fun. The new maps don't have the same charm as the original. My friends and I can barely even run the game anymore on the lowest settings and it sucks having watched a game that we all paid $30 for just go to ♥♥♥♥ and become unplayable. I miss what this game used to be and it sucks that its going to have to die now because the developers got greedy and made a bunch of stupid choices instead of keeping the great thing they had as it was.

Honestly a great game. It reminds me a lot of DnD and is best played with friends. The loot and enemies feel fresh and I love the idea of the lore store which allows you to add characters, items, and random encounters to the game as you progress.

I dunno. The game was fun for the first few hours of playing it and discovering everything. After that, it got kind of boring and old. I would love for this game to have a story or campaign, and just more features in general. Possibly more music. I'm asking too much though given that this game is FREE and doesn't have a massive team of professional developers working on it. It's great for what it is.
