Now, I (and maybe some of you) were discouraged by the trailer. It just seemed so SIMPLISTIC. But, I gave it a try anyway, and boy, do I love this game. My review will go through the following categories: Gameplay, Audio, Graphics, and Multiplayer.

Graphics- The graphics are not made to be next gen, I know. However, They are still pretty darn good for Minecraft-style graphics. The highest quality you can go up to is beautiful. 9/10 (for the Minecraft-like style.)

Audio- YOU NEED AUDIO TO PLAY THIS GAME EFFECTIVELY. You will have no idea where any alerted zombies are without it. The song for it, is a simple, orchestrated song, but still sounds pretty good. there are no incredible things to behold in the audio. 7/10

Gameplay- Feels an awful lot like DAYZ, but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better. Did I mention that it was way better? You dont need to walk very much to find some supplies. my only complaint is that it takes FOR EVER to find a decent ammount of ammo for your gun. 3.0 has a very smooth crafting system, and has improved greatly since the confusing and complicated crafting system in 2.0. The zombie killing was never too hard, just as long as you had a weapon with reach. 9.5/10

Multiplayer: What came to me the most. You can buy a $5 premium account that gives you special character cosmetics, but is unnecesary unless you want to support the devs, which I highly reccomend. There is Pvp and PvE, which is nice, and the map is big enough that you can enjoy the game without meeting someone every 5 feet. Also, there is voice chat, which is awesome. 9/10

Overall: What a great game. It seemed to me like Minecraft and DAYZ had a baby, then removed all the bad things from DAYZ and added things that made the experience overall astounding.

9/10 would get mauled by zombies until I get a handle on things again.

I used to like this game. I really did. Then came what i call 'THE UPDATE'. IT RUINED EVERYTHING. If you can travel back in time, Great! 10/10. But right now, unless they do something to fix this, I give this a 2/10. You guys really dissapointed me with that update.
EDIT-
I keep coming back to the game to see if it has changed. but it keeps getting WORSE. unless they bring back the things that made this game so popular, i will never come back and so will thousands of others. LISTEN UP DEVS: we want our old game back.

A great game for wasting time.

+ A great art style, very Minecraft.
+ SO MANY ITEMS
+ SO MANY DIFFERENT SETS OF ARMOR
+ SO MANY MOBS/ BOSSES
+ A ton of playabliblity and replay value.

Cons-
- No controller support
