While a terrible PC port, this game is still incredibly fun, and a great alternative to the increasingly sombre realism of the GTA series. With tonnes to do and more customisation options than you can poke a stick at, this game is actually better than than its successor.

While rather short, and with some intensely frustrating sections, Mirror's Edge is a unique game that should be played at least once.
With emphasis on fluidity, and puzzle solving from a first person perspective, Mirror's Edge is the platformer, matured.

Beautiful game. The Diablo influence is clear, however unlike the dark, sometimes muddy look of Diablo, Torchlight is bright, and clean, and full of action that sits nicely in that gaming sweet spot.

Explore, build, fight, create. Quirky 16bit-like graphics hide an incredible game with unimagined depth, and brilliant gameplay. Well worth the price.
