gameplay is really solid, a few things though after playing the game for a bit, having the starting chest upgrade maxed and beating the current content on the default difficulty:

- gunplay with certain guns feels a bit strange, the automatic rifle in particular feels a bit flat when shooting recoil wise
- i think the game could do with some more impactful feedback when doing certain actions (reloading and firing certain guns like the auto rifle feels a bit strange, reloading the shotgun felt a bit off, unsure how to explain it other than it felt strange)

- the ability to internalize what is happening in the later stages becomes a bit difficult, I think having accessibility options for outlining enemies or certain things as an option would be a nice QoL

- knowing the range of when i can pick up objects is a little jarring as it's a very far range you can grab an object from, but I just have to kind of guess when something is in range or mash E to gravitate it towards me, having a highlight on objects that can be picked up when in range would help (?)


i'm overlooking some of the other things like variation in levels and enemies right now, since it's early access obviously im assuming some of the things im thinking about will come in the future, but overall I really enjoy the formula, i'd love to see more visual representation of the upgrade/modifiers though on the weapons, as the only visual changes are the skins and the scope

Playing for 1010 hours, I'd say this game is worth investing time into, the grind is fun with and without friends.
