Early Access Review
One of the best city builders out there. Definitely up there with Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress. Production and water control mechanics separate it from other games. It will steal hours from your life.

I new nothing about the physical board game, looked at some playthroughs and it looked interesting. I was confident Dire Wolf would give it good treatment, and I have not been disappointed. Easy recommendation.

I had to drop a good review on this one since they actually listened to players and made some good pacing changes in the game. A simple, but fun dice rolling, card buying game. Reminds me of Monopoly a bit, but more balanced and no player elimination.

Early Access Review
What a great game, well made, great UI, top notch digital conversion. So glad I picked this one up. I may have to go on and buy the physical game.

This is a borderline recommendation.
One reviewer said the game is only in German, this is not true, there is a big round flag in the top corner of the main page that flips from German to English. You can't miss it.
Another review calls the UI hot trash, but I found it serviceable enough to get through my first game. I actually like the fact that you can open, close, move and resize all the windows but it does not remember sizes and placements from game to game, and as said in that review, it does not hold up to most modern digital board game interfaces.
The game has a tutorial, but it only walks you through the interface showing you how to navigate the windows and map. You'll have to watch a video on how to play the board game, or read the included rules section.
I have not tried to play an online game so I cannot comment on that and I don't have enough playing experience to rate the AI.
The game is very bare bones with no animation and no music, just sound effects. I'd say buy it if you are a big fan of the Power Grid board game and want a way to play when it's not game night, or if you are just curious like me and want to see how the board game plays. Overall, the game could use a lot of work but I think this is all it will ever be.

Fun little dice placement solitaire game. Not as complicated as I thought it might be. Tutorial is excellent.

Early Access Review
It was a little hard to get into in the beginning, somewhat slow, but once things got going it became really enjoyable. You get the sense that this world is alive like no other city builder out there. A very deep simulated environment where everything in nature is dependent on each other and you have to pay attention to the balance of things.
Highly recommended and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this one.

Borderline positive review.
It's still Ticket to Ride, but not as good as the previous version.

Owners of the previous version really got taken. All they offered was a free Europe dlc, they should have given discounts to all expansions that were previously purchased, it's just not a good way to treat loyal customers and Days of Wonder should have seen this coming.

The graphics are just overdone and it's more difficult to see completed lines on the board, the old version is so much clearer. It needs an option to simplify the graphics and enhance visibility of the trains covering the lines. I'd prefer to see functionality over style.

The game is missing a lot of features that the previous version had, I don't understand how it could be out of early access.
It will certainly be better once it becomes feature complete, but I hope they add more graphic options.

Campaign is too short, just to get the biggest negative out of the way for me. I like challenges, but once you finish the ten missions, there really is no challenge left and if you're the type of gamer that likes objectives, then the game is done. It really needed more missions and/or a mission editor for the workshop.

The good part is, the missions are enjoyable, if not a little too easy. The coffee shop business building is fun and engaging and if you are only interested in sandbox, then this will be right up your alley.

I'd give the game a 5 out of 10. It would easily be an 8 out of 10 with a mission editor and workshop.
