I don't know what I expected from this game but it wasn't that.

For Gigabash players: 4 new characters with fresh movesets. Kiryu/Mechagodzilla specifically has a new ammunition mechanic.

For Godzilla fans: faithful representations of Kiryu, Gigan(Showa), Destoroyah, and Godzilla(looks like vs. Biollante suit) each with many source references in their movesets and taunts.

So good! Slay the Spire level and item progressions, Diabloish combat, and a village management twist all wrapped up in a cutesey package. Pleasantly surpised. 9/10

Great destruction, fun gameplay, characters have unique movesets, interactions, and counters. Just needs a bigger roster imo. Maybe a story more for each character instead of only 4.

Adds a nice difficulty bump if the game was getting stale. Characters and items are fun too.

Pokemon/Monster Rancher/Dragon Quest Monsters but good. The amount of monster synergy and class tactics is insane. I don't even wanna know how long it took to sprite out all the monsters.

Exceptionally unique in gameplay and mechanics. The most immersive game I've played in years.

Surpisingly deep, super varied classes/races. Underrated gem.

The Zoo Tycoon game I've been waiting for. My only wish is that the devs continue to flesh this game's content out. I also very much appreciate the Conservation aspect that Zoo Tycoon was missing

Tight gameplay, decent graphics, most of all? FUN. Madden on roids in all the best ways.
