I love this game so much, but don't let it fool you - I DON'T find it relaxing!! You have to run a strict schedule, and some things are season locked!! I find the minigames at the bar incredibly difficult, I don't think I'll ever beat them!! Then there's fishing, it can be fun but sometimes the fish FIGHT BACK!!

Spouses are awesome but depending on who you choose they don't do much. I love my husband Shane but I wish we could do more things together, like bEATING THE BLASTED MINIGAMES!! PLEASE!! Ahem... I'd enjoy more features, but as it is it's an AMAZING game that I would highly recommend!!

I'm a big fan of yanderes, so when I saw this it made me really happy. It's also free, so two of my favorite things - free things and yanderes! Before I get on to my review, I want to make it clear that this game was made by a non-native English speaker. For that reason alone I won't be judging the voice acting or typos. I will, however, be giving an honest review on everything else. If the creator happens to read this then please know this is all constructive criticism! I hope you take this in stride and use it to make wonderful things.

SUMMARY:
The game "Yandere Escape" by LetmeDwight is about a man who, after drinking beer with two friends at a pub, gets abducted. The unnamed man was taken by a woman (also unnamed) who wants to marry him. This man is brought to an unknown location that he must escape. There is no actual layout of the building, you just go through door after door until you miraculously find the exit. You progress by either breaking down each door or finding unlocked doors. You only need to go through 20 doors until you find that exit I previously mentioned.

GAMEPLAY:
There is no tutorial on what controls to use, I just got lucky by using arrow keys and space. The controls themselves aren't good and even inconsistent, you use space to open doors however you can't use space in place of enter for the options?
The character walks really slow which is quite frustrating, especially because you can't sprint. The cut scenes are just as slow, and can't be skipped. If you try to press any keys then you will mess up the starting cut scene... I got frustrated quite a bit.

STORY:
The biggest flaw of this game has to be the lack of story, you're just thrown into a pub with two dudes and then bam - abducted. We aren't even given a reason as to why he was abducted other than the woman saying they were going to get married... Like... Why do you want to marry him? How do these characters know each other? Why is the yandere a yandere? There's no backstory! The characters don't even have names...

OVERALL:
There's no story, the controls aren't good, the character speed is frustrating, the cut scenes are as equally frustrating as character speed, and I have no idea as to why "diary scraps" were added for any other reason than to allude to Slender. I'm also not a big fan of using Gacha Life for the characters; but I think this was used due to it being the only available thing. As for the actual design of the two main characters (the dude and the yandere) I think they actually look quite nice.
