Early Access Review
tracks are varied and enjoyable, cars offer plenty of customizability and setup/tuning opportunities, driving physics are pretty good and the damage model is better than anything else I've seen in a video game. I'd buy this again

edit: as of 2022 the game has only gotten better as the developers revamp assets and add functionality

it's alright if you have friends to play with and promise to yourself not to buy shark cards

Good way to kill time. Fun even if you're bad. Lots of room for individual skill. Well worth the price tag.

CS:GO Review
If you join a pub server and scroll through the players you'll probably find at least one more or less blatant waller, and you can rest assured VAC isn't going to detect their tutorial copy paste cheats any time soon. You know it's bad when there's an actual business around providing a 3rd party matchmaking system where people don't cheat, and there's more than one competing platform.

Gun balance is what it is, it comes and goes with Valves seemingly random patches. Some changes the community agrees with, some it doesn't, not like the community can always even agree with itself. Pistols are stronger than I'd like, certainly stronger than in previous titles. Acceleration and player speed are quite quick, which sometimes leads to frustrating experiences with getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on by a strafe spamming pistol player.

Speaking of frustrating experiences, it's hard to blame Valve for the playerbase, but still I wish there was something to be done about it. Mostly matchmaking gives you cool teammates, but sometimes you face a tirade of rage and abuse without any recourse. I'm not sure the reports actually do anything.

You could say there's a lot of customizability what with the cosmetics, skins and sprays and such. It's just that you used to be able to download them from fpsbanana but Valve has figured out a way to turn that into a revenue stream. Good for them, money sink for others. Granted, you don't need cosmetics but I think it's safe to say most like to have a few. I have mixed feelings.

In conclusion, game is great and I recommend it, 5/5.

If you played Quake, you'll love this game. If you didn't - you'll probably still love it. Reflex is a fast-paced shooter inspired by an era of FPS games that didn't have regenerating health, prone stance, or scopes. No loadouts either, every player can pick up the same weapons from around the maps, and they shoot exactly where you point them at, so if your shots don't connect you've no one else to blame.

The movement is simple, but complex. Relatively easy to learn, but difficult to master. No wall jumps or dodges, or other scripted increases of speed (press x to fly that way). Instead the player uses air strafing, air control and knockback from explosions to gain and conserve momentum. This allows players to get around the map at great speeds and perform various trick jumps to get from point A to point B quickly and efficiently.

While the game feels good, the input feels responsive and the gameplay itself is solid, Reflex is still very much an early access title, and by no means near completion. At the time of writing this, you can build maps using the built in editor, host servers and play TDM/duel, and not much else. There is no matchmaking or ladders yet, there isn't even a GUI for changing your keybinds, you do that in the in-game console. All that will come though, patch by patch, as the developers work on it. The game is already fun to play, and has great potential, but it'll take some time for it to become a finished product.

That being said, even in it's current state I do recommend Reflex to anyone who likes FPS games, it's a breath of fresh air amidst all the modern military shooters.

Great little puzzle game with a unique idea and a great soundtrack, but I was left wishing for more challenge and more levels.

Recommended for music enthusiasts.

Turbo Dismount is everything it's predecessor was, and then some! Nothing beats watching Mr. Dismount disintegrate as his tricycle gets t-boned by a bulldozer. Countless hours of fun, highly recommended!
