Game is releasing into the full 1.0 version with major gamebreaking bugs such as broken persistance, meaning that the much touted basebuilding or storage mechanics are pointless. There are no helicopters, only a single vehicle, a handful of boring guns, no end-game items such as nightvision or actual sniper rifles, loot spawns are inane (west and east loot spawning together, medieval helmets spawning in summer camps, MP5s spawning on radio towers, etc). I've tried to stick though the long development cycle but the developers have clearly given up on this title and are pushing out an unfinished product in attempt to make a few final bucks. You're better off just finding interesting mods for Arma 3 than playing DayZ.

I will edit this review if things change.

It's hard to play any other FPS after spending a significant time in CS, probably the only modern skill-based FPS left.
