It saddens me to say that today, after many years of playing Team Fortress 2, I am leaving the game behind. I had so many great memories of playing TF2, and I was so devoted to the game that I thought I would never abandon it. But unfortunately, Valve's neglect of the game and their unwillingness to listen to the community's cries for help have left me with no other choice.

It's been heartbreaking to watch TF2 slowly die over the years. The #SaveTF2 campaign was a valiant effort to try and get Valve to pay attention to the game, but it failed horribly. All we got from Valve was a few tweets saying they care, but no actual effort to do anything about the game's diminishing state.

It's a shame that a game that I used to love so much could end up like this. But alas, this is the way it has to be. I bid farewell to Team Fortress 2, and I hope that one day, Valve will find it in their hearts to give the game the attention it deserves.
