I love this game, it's the reason I got a PC gaming rig. I've logged 900 hours and it is still fun. A team-based FPS and there's a lot of wacky-ness that comes along with it. Medic chains, pan scouts, rocket jumping trolldiers, demoknights, combat engis, phlog pyros, spycrabs, snipers flinging their bottled urine around, and a tea time at high noon at the Heavy's Sandvich party. I love this game and continue to love it. Not to mention it's Valve's testing ground for major design ideas: free to play, microtransactions, cosmetics, trading, marketing, PvE, and now virtual reality. Keep on the lookout for this bustling game.

The definitive competitive fighting game experience. Easy to learn, but you will find layers upon layers of complexity when playing this game at high levels. First you begin understanding command input, then situational awareness, focus cancelling, linking combos, frame-perfect combos, and finally opponent psychology. This game is the Chess of fighting games, however it is enjoyable at all levels of play, and more so as you begin improving. Best fighting game on PC.

My first true indie experience! Super Meat Boy was recommended by a friend about 3 years before I ever got the chance to play it, but I'm so happy I did. His constant remarks on the game being "the hardest game ever" "it's sooooo hard" are what motivated to 100% this badboy and proving the noob in him. More about the game though, three months of development were committed to perfecting the controls. Level design is interesting and complex. Basically, if the level can be beaten once, even if it took 100 tries, it's going in the game. However, master the controls, and you'll understand the power controlling Meat Boy.

Another rouge-like! Start at the top of the tower and see if you can get to the bottom alive! Enjoyable, fast-paced, and invigorating! I played many times with the regular weapons reworking my strategies and feeling like a total boss along the way. The game has plenty of power-ups and weapon expansion that incentivise multiple playthroughs. Highly recommended for fast-paced gaming!

An awesome puzzle game that kept me interested for hours. Splice reworks the biological properties of cell division to create a game about shape formation using various interactions in the environment. The result is a fun puzzle game about trial and error, and understanding the subtlties of Splice's "cell composition" mechanics. You will amaze yourself everytime you solve a puzzle.

Essentially a programming game that challenges your efficiency and ability to manipulate logic statements. Still not scared? Ok cool, then you must like programming to some extent. Spacechem is not about chemistry as much as it is about programming a sequence to efficiently produce your yield. I like programming so this game was very interesting and tickled my brain in the right places, but I could understand how this isn't for everyone, because it isn't about puzzle as much as it is procedural programming.

A puzzle platformer. And one I'm not too terribly fond of. The mechanics are simple, take a picture of an object in the environment and replace it somewhere where you need it. However, when you increase the complexity, I found myself having to fulfill a large amount of detail sensitive sequences that peaked my frustration. A tough game, albeit an artistically beautiful one, perhaps one deserving of a more patient player.

An indie darling with a sexy narrator. This game is awesome! Very fun, very thematic, excellent job Supergiant in making a game that is both mysterious and heartwarming all at once! You must play if you haven't, an essential indie.

Edmund McMillan's classics in one package. If you liked his newest titles, Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy, I can recommend this. You will see the games that formed Edmund as a game designer and artist and look his finest pieces of work. Also you are recieving plenty of developer commentary, interviews, movie clips, artwork, and other goodies to enjoy. Games include Coil, Grey Matter, Triachnid, Time Fcuk, Meat Boy, Spewer, and Aether. All wonderful.

DayZ is why this game is in my library. I have no interest in real time military strategy simulation, but an innovative birth of a genre, PvP zombie apocalypse survival, yes. I'm looking forward to the standalone!
