This game did not work for me. Steam installs a game launcher which then installs the game. You need to setup an Ankama account which worked, but once in-game it did not recognize my credentials and errored out. It wouldn't let me try again and offered a link to a website where I could login and "activate" my account. I tried that instead, but the website just said "no email found" even though I was logged in on another Ankama website under those credentials. The only thing I can think of is that the user credentials are stored in multiple places and needs time to transition/migrate over. Definitely can't recommend this since it didn't work.

Fun game, especially in coop. It is definitely buggy though and feels like it may have been rushed. I'm also surprised the developer hasn't fixed some of the issues or put more polish on considering how long it's been out. Overall mechanics are pretty good although after playing Pavlov it feels a little simplistic. Free movement works fine. You teleport up and down ladders though. Aiming guns felt realistic and there's quite a few choices, mostly in terms of pistols though. I liked the mask feature and being able to explore houses and cars along the way. Normal is too easy, I recommend playing on Hard. Even that wasn't too bad. If you exit coop mid-way through the game, it will not save your weapons when you come back to play another day. Connecting to my friend was pretty easy for coop. If you're left-handed like me you can switch which hand is holding the gun which is nice. Overall a fun VR experience, but I'm disappointed/surprised that the dev hasn't put more love into the base game. It could use one more pass of polish to really make it a great game.

So far so good! Reach is fairly short, but it was fun to run through the coop experience again. Can't wait for the next releases!

Game is working great for me so far, loads reasonably fast, no major bugs yet, runs smooth on my GTX 1070. Not sure why so many people are having issues.

Amazing gem of a game, especially for the coop with your friends. If you haven't played you're missing out.

This was working great when it originally came out, but they must have abandoned it. It still works, but barely.

Just finished the first campaign and, wow, that was great! I am loving this game. It feels a lot like Banished but the extreme weather mechanic is such a great touch. I never felt at ease with my city, I was always battling to survive and I really enjoyed that challenge. The thing I didn't like about Banished was that once you figured out the game it was too easy. Most of my cities ended up the same and I always "won". This was much harder. I loved having to make hard decisions one after the other in an effort to survive. The ending was satisfying and the time-lapse thing was a great touch. Nice work 11 bit studios!

This is a really neat game with some clever ideas. I didn't have any expectations going in because I didn't know what it was but it exceeded them marvelously. Definitely recommended.

Amazing Dark Souls style fantasy RPG. Story and dialog is excellent, combat is pretty solid, world and environments are stellar. I love the detective type element too. Definitely recommended!

This is hands down the coolest VR game I've played so far. I've never done such badass things in a video game before. It's amazing! I want to write a book about it. It's the epitome of a "murder boner". If you pick this game up, be sure to play at least 3-4 hours because there's a bunch of not-obvious things you can do that you only discover by rampaging through the levels and trying out new moves. The best part is the "endless waves with (npc) friends" modes (warzone or something). Constant carnage, epic battles, the struggle to survive...it's basically Gorn but more realistic and better physics. The magic telekinesis is also awesome and a perfect fit for the battles. The enemy approaches, you've dropped your weapons. He smirks, knowing your demise is imminent, then SHLGKHKG a sword stabs through his chest. A look of utter shock is in his eyes. You pop slow-mo and reach up to grab his sword out of the air as another enemy dives in for the attack. You block and roll away, releasing a dagger that whizzes through the air into their exposed stomach. Now they're really ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You're back on your feet and back in the battle. 30 feet away you see your ally, ♥♥♥♥, they're in trouble, two guys bearing down with rippling muscles. You only have seconds to act. You sprint forward and see a barrel sitting against the wall. You use your Jedi mind powers and lift it up and slam it into their backs. Your ally stares back, the look of terror slowly fading from their face. You each give a nod and dive back in, slaying your way to victory! And that's just like 15 seconds worth of gameplay.

Definitely 100% recommended. You won't be disappointed if you like killing people with swords and magic. One BIG warning though: you will destroy your room so take precautions. I move around a LOT in this game and my VR monitor shield came in super handy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leD2hg3RqfI

EDIT: one new issue with this game is that you have to use the new controller mapping thing that Valve released. This isn't really an issue with the game, but it means you have to spend time setting it all up. It probably took me 15-20 minutes to get it right.
