Excellent all around, a true sequel that fixes basically any issue I had with the original while enhancing every mechanic with beautiful polish. This is a surprising achievement amongst a sea of crap sequels that have released recently, kerbal space program 2 comes to mind amongst many others. Every bit of this game is worth it and the devs and community need supporting for this great game I thought they didn't make games like they used to. But they did it. Hats off and applause all around for this great title. It's incredibly addictive and punchy and worth every penny. Any RTS fan who likes space and a bit of strategy and badass ships will enjoy this. Buy it.

Early Access Review
Broken.
Launch button doesnt work half the time.
Physics are less accurate and fun then the first game.
Game runs terribly on high end hardware.
Things are so busted you likely can't land on the moon or other bodies even if you were an expert in KSP1.
You can't pan around in the KVB seemingly. Or they changed the keybind and don't explain what the new key is.
Can't load ships and saving ships doesn't work half the time.
Wasted hours and hours building the perfect rocket for it to just not allow me to save or launch it.

Just wait a few years until this is bargain bin.

Update:

I have tried this game every couple of months since this review and it is still filled with problems.

The Camera panning in the VAB is just gone? You cant easily pan up and down a large space craft like you can in KSP 1. This is a major issue and it makes it a pain to assemble impressive ships.

It performs slightly better so thats okay

The VAB assembly tools are still busted. The keybinds between games are inconsistent and selecting 1 - 3 seemingly do different things such as changing the root which is annoying when thats not what you wanted.

random objects for some reason can be assigned the "root" part or the "craft" and when you hit launch sometimes its just a random thruster at the launch pad. (could be my fault but didnt have this issue in KSP 1)

I still dont know if the save game works because i gave up again after being annoyed.

The Wire (struts) to connect and stabilize parts barely goes 3 regular SM size fuel tanks.....Why? If you need wire connectors seemingly you have a large craft....Just make them 10x larger atleast. I couldnt connect my gigantic craft together.

The biggest issues for me is in vehicle assembly, saving and launching. The first 3 things anyone is likely to do in this game. I havent even been able to get to the Mun with my own craft yet. Ive done it dozens of times in KSP 1 as well as much farther bodies in the System without much issue in the first game.

Maybe im getting old but this aint it, not yet.
