If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

Bit of a disappointment. Game was buggy, and it seems the daddy can always win by just picking up the baby and dumping them repeatedly in the corner of the yard.

Sad, because it seems like such a fun concept, but in its current state I just couldn't enjoy it.

Underwater sci-fi survival game. Really fun, and the various story elements keep it interesting (so it's not only free-form do-what-you-want).

Only downside is the lack of a multiplayer option.

Worth it!

Eh.... I really don't know. I was a bit disappointed, but I picked it up on the cheap, so not too bad.

It tries, but I think it falls a bit flat, in some way I can't really explain.

Good game.

It doesn't seem like it has that much content, but it's actually deeper than it seems. It's a nice rogue-like, short-term-resource-management type thing that forces you to think on your feet, metaphorically speaking, since you can pause at any time to review the situation and post orders (and you'll have to, a lot, unless you are a machine).

Don't go into this expecting to build an armada, or perform complex resource-management rts-style. For that I would recommend the excellent game "Cosmoteer".

For what this game does, it's great!

The style is kind of weird? I thought I'd be fine with it, but it did put me off. Like a Dali painting that I just don't get.

And the levels seem to mainly involve collecting stuff. Fine, if that's what you like, but I find it boring.

It's a good game with a rich world and entertaining and humorous characters. It's just not for me.

Early Access Review
It's good... but updates are still pretty slow. Seem to be picking up pace recently.

No NPCs though - just zombies. Multiplayer is good.

In it's current state it is still really good, though, so I'd say get it!

Other people might like it, but it's not for me.

Age of Empires. What can I say? A classic.

Though a lot of the appeal may be more nostalgia than anything. A lot of what it does will seem dated by modern standards. Personally, I prefer Starcraft, but this is still deserving of its high praise.
