Ran this demo with a 4090 / Bigscreen Beyond / Index controllers. Looks great. Definitely needs more FPS, but it was playable and cinematic and fun. It's inspiring seeing something look this good in VR! Thanks for the demo!

Early Access Review
Great for previewing dome projection footage, 3D gopro footage, 180VR footage and huge panoramas.

controls can be fiddly but you'll figure it out, at least I did eventually.

Great party game for a 3D projector + surround sound. Good to play with Razer Hydra as well. Only played wrecking crew mode, not sure if story is good or not.

I used to be one of the greatest tilt brush artists in the world. Then the vive released to everyone & it was quickly taken over by people who spend a ton of time on making really detailed paintings. As low quality artist who only does rough pencil sketches, my painting career was virtually over. I had to paint for fun or quit.

I quit.

I still demo tilt brush & tell stories about my glory months as a top tilt brusher, but I don't think I'll ever get a book deal.

Then last some time or another I made a rad picture book in tilt brush & it was great & I was once again a tilt brusher. Don't give up. Just add images that can't be shared. That's how you win.

liked:
first vr game where I got to shoot a gun
seeing my brother smile when he got to dual wield and blast blast robots
electro whipping robots & slicing away the shots
grenades
lots of high action where you could move around a bunch
mothership battle was cool
haptics on the shield when it's hit is cool

disliked:
shooting robots made them go farther away and harder to hit
robots shot me =(
lots and lots of robots kept shooting me
ultimately the way you get through the game isn't highly intellectual it's mostly just shooting robots a lot

Thoughts:
Play it in a big space!
Play it wireless.
Play it with wide fov so you can see the robots.

Enemies took forever to kill, and gained health throughout the 4 levels I played making it take even longer, giving me a feeling of losing progress throughout the game & 2 hours in my finger had enough.

Without the big progress bars showing how long the waves would last, you'd have no idea you were getting anywhere. Totally nailed the uploading files on a coffeeshop wifi connection vibe. =)

To mix things up, you had to release your trigger finger every few seconds to unleash the raw power of a few more rubber bullets or wait even longer for things to finally die.

I tried my best to spice things up by pretending to be an action movie hero, as I had plenty of time to contrive backstories and subplots while standing in one place shooting the same types of enemies forever. This was amusing. If you're a streamer and want a long game to introduce comedy and story to, this is a good place to play.

I think this game would be pretty rad if you and the enemies all had 90% less health so dodging made sense and shooting felt good. It could be a solid 1 hour game if a "guns that do actual damage mode" update shows up.

Props to the art guys - the game looks decent & could be really cool!

Just wanted to leave a great review for this game - I played the new event, it is crazy.
I haven't beat the core mode, I've hit level 29. Some day soon. =)

You'll notice that most people have a low playtime. That's because this game is a crazy workout, and you can't play it for very long. Its a harder game, and takes practice to win.

Also, I shelved it until I got wireless vr. Now with wireless vr, it's back in action, and crazy fun.

Was looking for a fun pvp game. Bugged the devs for keys, and have been having a blast. Updating to reflect that all the cons were fixed. GJ devs!

I've made some friends in this game who are always playing and it's a pretty great community!

It's a fast paced 3v3 dm.
-Catch and block opponents shots
-Grab fun powerups that are fun
-Yell a lot
-Run into things on the edge of your playspace
-Spectate the game from giant mode if you're eliminated
-Always play 3v3 with bots (who are actually really good)
-Use teamwork
- have your entire team stick together
- have a guy out front distracting and have other players flank
- Take down enemies with bounce shots

Cons (now all fixed!!!)
- I felt that I was lag killed several times. A guy with 8 ms ping seemed to have a way more fluid experience.
- No player global player list to show who's on what server yet, so you gotta switch around to find a game.
- No team chat / ptt yet mic is always on.
- No ingame volume level
- can't team with friends yet (skill based assignments)
