This game doesn't have hundreds of hours of content, but it's still worth playing in it's current build (as of feb 2021).

Its beautiful pixel art stands out against the minimal aesthetic the style often carries. Your character's status can affect events without weighing down the main "mystery solving" mechanics. Compared to similar games, World of Horror's gameplay is interesting moment-to-moment, but disappointing in some ways.

It's not frequent that your solved mysteries have any sort of effect on gameplay other than a few temporary stat boosts. The few events that do this in-game currently are either for achievements or permanent unlocks, which makes them feel frustrating to miss. In my opinion, a better implementation would be events like the locker in the School Scissors mystery: use a key from a different mystery to get a useful item. Around 10 of these events would add a decent amount of content, and let the gameplay unfold more like a real story than a random selection of pages.

I still enjoy this game, and I'm excited to see more World of Horror.

Burnout has definitely taken a turn off the main road with this installment. Although the taking-out of cars is still a thing, it's not focused on at all in this game. I dislike this game for that matter. Otherwise, this game is meh and I wouldn't recommend this to you. You'll have more fun with any other game for this price.

Ahh, Borderlands. A loot-and-plunder shooter game, very addictive, what else do I need to say?

Fun with friends. Pretty difficult in the beginning, but very fun when you begin getting better at this game.
