Lots of quality of life features, improved graphics, and additional dialog and story elements. I put 30 hours into this game, beat it on Impossible to get the most of what this game can offer. I didn't use most of the guns because I never needed them, Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle can carry a playthrough. Never needed suit upgrades but encounters could punish brutally. Gun upgrades are a definite plus. Great remake.

There is some stuttering as many other users have pointed out even at medium settings but my case was minor and somewhat rare, dynamic spawns weren't Left 4 Dead Director levels of competent despite ambushes being common as Necromorph AI don't seem to dynamically coordinate attacks as a group, the backtracking to open security doors gets a bit dull, the shooting range changes set me up for an expectation that failed to be lived up to when I got to zero-G basketball, using junction boxes really wasn't much of a game changer, sometimes looking for clusters to shoot is a bit of a pain as some areas read a bit poorly at first glance when looking for objectives. There are a few minor glitches in the game like Nicole T-posing in her final cinematic moment onboard the Ishimura, storage locker open notifications being stuck despite the door being opened, flying on controller and trying to boost gets frustrating as the same buttons that boost and stabilize flight (right and left bumper) also cause the player to land which resulted in bad movement at times, and sometimes the Riglink appears and just will not go away and one time soft locked me. A few patches and this game will be gold.
