This is a really fun game. I don't tend to play sporty games but I've played this quite a bit already.

The tutorial is good/amusing and I like how each skill is gradually introduced in career mode. To begin with before you learn any the game can be a bit difficult, but the moment you win a game and unlock a skill the game really opens up, so make sure you don't give up on it before this point.

I'm not even the target market as I love playing football casually in real life—I still maintain that the... er... real life fake non-Kickmen version of the offside rule makes total sense as it presumably exists to prevent goal-hanging and isn’t just a pointless faff to learn—I DIGRESS), despite enjoying real life football, I love the way this game makes fun of it too.

I would have liked a local multiplayer option, as this is my favourite way to play competitive games, but that's my only critique; and the fact that I find single player enjoyable enough to play shows how fun the game is.

The writing (both info text and the DRAMATIC story) is constantly making me laugh—I often take screenshots of it—and the game itself is fun to play. When you do a goal you feel like the coolest kickman, especially when you do a triple goal which I don't believe I've ever done in real life. Ok... so I've never done a triple in this game either, only the enemy team have. It's only a matter of time though.

The game is much cheaper than I'd expect, cheaper than most people expected it seems, so it’s great value for money too.

I got this game for free—for submitting crowd audio I think (sorry, I hate my voice too)—but I'd have bought it anyway, and will be recommending it to friends.

I like it :) finally I have played a Sim City game. Tutorials are very good, wasn't even paying attention but they weren't boring and were quick and well sectioned.

Pretty fun. At first I didn't like it as much as Minecraft. Then I suddenly played it for an entire day. Then I was too freaked by that sucking up of my time to play it again for a while!

It can be a little scary and it is different from Minecraft in a lot of ways. less buildy, more collecting stuff to make into new armous and weapons and equipment etc.

Although repetative, on paper (and often in realilty) this is a great game.

I like shooters, but sometimes they feel pointless to me, and since I am not a hardcore player, miss the rpg elements such as levelling up, which help you to improve even if you don't actually improve, and make the game feel less pointless.

Rpg's I love however level grinding (which I don't really do) or even the battles that you cannot avoid can be tiresome and repetative. Secret of Mana is one of the only games in which random encounters are not annoying (think gameboy Zelda style but with magic and levelling and a lot more weapons).

Borderlands combines the good parts of shooters and rpg's and eliminates the bad. It also looks amazing with its cel-shaded style, although the landsape is very beige and bland (purposefully) but still I miss my Secret of Mana aesthetics.

Despite sometimes feeling like a waste of time (boring storyline) it is addictive. I'm glad I bought it on sale though.

It feels so geeky and yet its really addictive and easy to get into at a time when I'm not feeling like gaming especially often. I even learnt some geography and got my dad vaguely interested in a game. Being interested in trains probably helps (I'm not) but is not necessary to have fun playing. =]
