I've played all the way through this masterpiece on Playstation, I loved the game so much I got it on Steam as well! The Ryu Ga Gotoku / Yakuza series is so damn good! I implore all of you to give this series a try.

10 years later this game is still great! I would definitely recommend if you haven't played it.

Garry's Mod is an alright game nowadays, it's a shame that it makes most computers I played on in the past with the current build of Gmod chug like a steam train. If you don't have a beefy computer currently, I would hold off on playing for awhile until you can upgrade. It's definitely an upgrade from Gmod 12 with all the new additions and such, including compatibility with the Steam Workshop. With the issue I stated earlier, I wish they would add a legacy version for those who have low end computers (basically a Gmod 12 branch or something.) I remember spawning in a few Team Fortress 2 props and ragdolls for photos I would make and the game would just start tanking frames. On my current PC build I don't experience these issues but it's still a glaring issue. Other than that, if you are looking for a fun sandbox experience to play with some friends then this is the game you are looking for. If you do get this game make sure you also purchase Counter Strike: Source if you haven't already, a huge majority of addons require content from there.

Team Fortress 2 has definitely stood the test of time and I wouldn't be able to recommend this game enough! The community is still thriving to this very day with newcomers taking the places of those who fall out of the game, creating wonderful Steam Workshop content, and showing the utmost loyalty and respect that this game deserves. It's definitely a shame that Valve doesn't want much to do with the game anymore. But when we do get an official update from them, it's usually in good quality with a few major or minor hiccups. I've spent god knows how much money and time on this game. Even though I might put it down for a while, I know that I can always come back to enjoy what made it good in the first place. Being an excellent trend setting FPS game from 2007 with a whole lot of personality and wit behind it. That's something that no other FPS will ever be able to do.
