holy hell does this game deliver a good experience. roguelike with easy to understand story, rocking tunes, and combat that is smoother than a can of arizona green tea on a hot summer day

A well balanced game, with a tight-knit community, Rivals of Aether is a steal for under $20. Characters are all creative, and movement is the smoothest in any platform fighter I've played. Tutorials let you try out DLC fighters before purchasing them, and you can re-map the controls to whatever buttons you'd like, with options for tap jump on/off, smash stick on/off, etc.

I've sunk almost 800 hours into this game and it won't be hard to add another 200 hours.
