A decent and VERY short adventure that takes around an hour to complete. The level design is good, with frequent checkpoints, I like those DKC Barrel-like cymbols. There's not a lot of variety of obstacles, but the level design is still comptetent and engaging. The combat is alright, some combat sections were nice, though there were a couple places where enemies and platforming were poorly mixed, like one time where I had to walljump but there's an enemy above that can take me out, it was annoying.

Speaking of annoying, I with the controls and physics were tighter. In a way it feels like NES Super Mario Bros. - if you jump from stand still, you won't gain more horizontal speed, and when you jump forward, you get a slight horizontal speed boost, which feels off. The same applies to walljumps, somestimes I need to pull a long walljump but sometimes it results in a short walljump, ruining the flow. There were occasional glitches, like where I sometimes couldn't walljump off moving walls. The rotating symbols' "shooting" arc is not very consistent, where I needed to get a decent horizontal vertical speed (around 45 degrees) you need to find just the right angle, I had to attempt such launches multiple times and it never felt natural. There were a couple of blind drops, where I tried to use a walljump in case something came up, but I wasn't quick enough.

The story is pretty much non-existant, it boils down to "rescue your sister". Which is fine I guess, but when you get to the end, the game just ends with little fanfare. No explanation on who that bad guy is or what's their deal.

Speaking of fanfares, I wish there was more variety in music. All I heard in the game is some ruin and cave themes, maybe a forest at the beginning, but there's no boss battle theme or some tense theme for when you're falling down and avoid obstacles, or even cheerful credits theme when you find sister (to be fair the credits are very short, but still, I wish there was something for the ending). It's all the same, and is quite repetitive.

As I said before, the game is very short, there are only two "unique" events/mini-games (i think that point is slightly exaggerated), a small shoot em' up section at the beginning, which is pretty cool, I think something similar should've been more frequent, and a freefall where you fall down and avoid obstacles (maybe you want to count a boss battle and a chase sequence at the end as such, but I think that's stretching things a bit).

The pixel art is good and animations are smooth. Not much to say really, the artist(s, sorry can't check because i pressed new game and there's no credits option) did a very good job.

Overall, I think this is a decent short game, though the controls aren't as tight as one would hope, the level design is pretty good and the checkpoints are frequent, eliminating some frustration, and it makes for a small indie snack.

A simple but solid puzzle where you control multiple cats at once and every step requires thought. It's pretty short, and there's a lot of potential for more gameplay mechanics and variety of set pieces, but what's here is good. If you like puzzle games I highly recommend picking this one. It's low price is perfect for one hour of brain breaking.
