I need to start by saying I love this game and the wonderful range of heroes and abilities. It is one of the most fun and diverse video games I've ever played in my life. It offers so much more than other FPS shooters as it has created a multitude of classes and heroes with such diverse backgrounds, strengths and weaknesses that all have the ability to make an impact in game.

But in saying this I have just uninstalled this game, because it does not offer any stress relief, fun or meaningful progression system. It is a constant mental struggle to try and manage teammates who INT, people who disconnect and the horrible matchmaking. This overshadows every other potential possible thing with the game. Because if a game isn't fun, what's the point of playing it? Because of the poor handling, because of the lack of care in it's retention of player bases, because they just care about money. What is the point? World Cup, okay let's see, new battlepass, too expensive, new lore and heroes, so what? Those things urge me to want to play, but when I play it's like a big slap in the face. There is no real punishment for these toxic players who continue to ruin game after game. There is no reward for grinding competitive, the progression system updates every 5 wins but offers no information as to why or how. You can win 5-0 and stay at the same rank or even derank. How does that make sense? How is that an enjoyable experience? At this stage, part of me wishes the game would just die. So we can all move on and someone else can attempt to make a game where they take in to consideration their customer bases feedback and doesn't alienate them by focusing on revenue. We deserve better.

This game has taught me above all, how to swear in Cantonese.

The game itself is very reminiscent of GTA and just as immersive. Whilst familiar, it has it's own appeal, so far based more on hand to hand combat, which is what you would hope for in an open world game based in Hong Kong. I'm stupidly addicted to it at the moment, and it's compelled me to write one of my first reviews. Some levels can be tedious but due to difficulty and getting used to controls/buttons and how to complete the stage, but it makes you want to play over and over again until you complete the level. I can see why some people find it annoying the block system, which takes some getting used to and sometimes the controls feel less responsive. But it all takes some getting used to. This game was a steal on special, and I would definitely recommend it to others who have yet to play it and like other titles in the genre. I look forward to adding more as I progress. Thanks for reading.

This game used to be the best game online, it was funny, action packed and would entertain so many of us for hours. But since the last major update of "Casual Matchmaking" in the hopes of trying to emulate Overwatch, Valve have seriously broken this game. They've taken out the spontaneity of the game and you can no longer just jump on to a server with friends and play casually. They still call it "casual matchmaking" but that is just not the case.

So many times when I try to queue with my friend we queue for minutes at a time and then finally connect with large map/search paramteres only for one of us to NOT be able to connect and get the Game in Progress - Rejoin or Abandon option. But whenever we try to rejoin we get the same error over and over and cannot join that server together. So we must exit and queue again, wait minutes at a time again and THEN get the SAME error. We've tried googling, we've tried restarting the game and our computers but we continually get the same error. This is such a major issue to face that has yet to be fixed.

Furthermore the concept of teambalance has been thrown out the window, you have so many people leave mid match and teams are lop sided, and no one on the larger team is usually willing to swap, and it asks so infrequently for volunteers that for much of the match it remains lop sided until everyone leaves and you must queue again.

Valve I implore you to reinstate casual play, where you can just join a server based on maps and the people in them. Competitive has basically died too in my region, when I try to find matches there is no one searching. During my last queue i saw in "Casual" there was almost 8500 empty servers Worldwide.

The whole queuing system has unnecessarily complicated the ability to play this game with more restrictions now in place. We used to be able to vote for team balance, for map extensions, for a number of things which gave us some control over the match, so we would play for hours continuously. But now our only options are queue or play on limited community servers. I know this is an old game, but we still have a community who loves this game, and you need to realise that TF2 is it's OWN game that does not need to try and emulate other games. Bring back "CASUAL PLAY" that allows us to join servers based on who is playing in them and what map they are playing. Stop restricting us please.....

- Someone who loves TF2, but does not love the restrictions put in place that have made the game more difficult to play. I wish i could now recommend this game to others but there are too many frustrating things to overcome, that I myself find that I play it less and less these days.
