I've been getting the same exact crash for months now. Every update i come back to check if its working. I just wanna play the game without it crashing every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hour. Its a shame to be honest, its a fantastic game save for this constant crashing with the updates to balancing. A 9800x3d and a 3080 should be more than enough to run this smoothly without issue.

Edit: As of patch 1.4 not only is the crash not gone, but it now happens in 40 minute intervals instead of 1 hour 20 minute intervals. Unreal 5 is a blight.

Edit 2: As of patch 1.5 the crash i was experience has now been fixed. With that out of the way I can finally give this game a thumbs up. It is a stalker game to the core, for good and for ill. I happen to love it for that, but I am also someone who can handle taking the Zone's blessings raw. Not everyone is down with the jank and the A-Life situation is still a bit uncertain, but i'm still have fun and these days that feels like such a rarity

I want to love this game, I really do, but there is such a massive mismatch between the developer's vision and what actually makes the game enjoyable. The developer wants this game to be long. insanely long. Most of my play time (about 120 hours of it) is from a single campaign from start to finish and that was when i used tactics (like the mercury research campus swarm) that developers have since patched out to lengthen the game. The actual underlying game design is downright enthralling and the core mechanics very engaging but the INSISTENCE that this game must be as long and grueling as possible take what could be one of the best strategy games in years and turns it into a miserable experience.

The wait for Xen was worth it. They've transformed what was easily the worst part of half life into something amazing. Black Mesa was already a fantastic remake, and now with Xen it's become one of, if not THE best remakes I've ever played.

I wasn't a fan of the microtransactions, but that didn't bother me too much. Certainly not enough for me to partake in the review bombings.

Imagine an Ace Combat game with awful voice acting, bland unineteresting characters, terrible dialogue, and sub par gameplay.

Not even a somewhat interesting story can salvage this planewreck.

Civ 5 is THE perfect game to play if you're going to be stuck on a desert island for 20+ years if you some how end up with a working computer.

A very fun game that is as hard or as silly as you want to treat it. You can screw around with crazy rocket designs that will almost certianly end explosivly or you can properly land on the mun and beyond. The learning curve is kinda steep but there are plenty of videos out there to help eyou if you cant figure it out
