its alright

AHHHHHHHHHHH ITS GOOD TO BE BACK!!!!

i was a player of the OG game and i have missed it SOOO MUCH!!! thank you devs for reviving it!!! it feels so much like what i remember!!!i cant wait to see how this version evolves!!!

like turn based strategy games (fire emblem, ff tactics)?
like card games (hearthstone, mtg)?
like cool pixel art?

ive played this a ton in the off steam beta after playing a fair amount if Hearthstone but ever since ive found this i stopped Hearthstone completely. this game is just so much nicer and more about skill than rng since you not onyl have to draw your cards and make your decks, but you also have to control where your monsters go and how they move/attack which is nice.

the game is also SO generous with its card pulls and gold giving, like in hearthstone you could open 20 packs and get maybe 2 epics but in this game ive gotten multiple legendaries and epics from 10 packs. gold is also given out a lot and there are a bunch of one turn kill puzzles that teach you the game and give tons of gold for packs so buying packs isnt really nescessary but tbh i think this game is so great so i dont mind supporting the devs.

the game overall is fantastic compared to other ccg games. like i am not that great at it but i still enjoy playing it, even when it gets frustrating (which it definitely does)

This game is a better Harvest Moon game than the actual Harvest Moon games.

I've been waiting for this game since its announcement and bought it like 30 seconds after it was on sale and so far it's everything I hoped for and I'm still only 3 hours in. What really blows my mind is that this game was done by just one guy. Like just wow that absolutely amazing and I'm really happy it turned out well! I will definitely be playing a ton of this game and so should you!!

spawn right next to one of the volcano things
it erupts just as i get out and kills me
second pod comes down just as lava goes away
erupts again just as im coming out and kills me again
and i still love this game

as someone who has put 100+ hours into the base Elite Dangerous game i was super excited when they announced Horizons and the planatery landing and i pre ordered the expansion instantly!!

i know lots of people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the pricing model and how its only planatery landings so far but like did you really expect them to release and entire years worth of expansions at once??? would you rather wait an extra year and have a probably super buggy expansion release or would you rather have it broken into smaller more manageable bits and given to you over the course of the year as long as you bought the Horizons expansion?

like the work that they put into this game is absolutely amazing and i think it is well worth the money, and thats just with the planatery landings alone. like ive only scratched the surface of what i can do on planets (finals week is hell) but i cant wait to fully explore the beauty of what this expansion has to give. i cant even begin to imagine how great the other additions will be once they are out (new loot/crafting could be cool same as multi crew even though i dont do combat)

the only really bad things ive noticed so far is that it takes like 20 minutes for me to actually get to the main menu once i hit play and also i only get like 10-15 fps on planets but i am 95% sure both of those things are just because my laptop is not the best for games

i wont give a numbered review for this just yet because i only have like 2 hours clocked so far but i do highly recommend it for anyone who loved the main game

this is a really awesome rhythmn game with a really unique concept and ive only played a little bit of it but its really a great game

that said it isnt a perfect game

after playing for more than 10-15 minutes my vision gets really messed up because in the game all the things that tell you what to hit are super blurry because of the motion so it causes my eyes to focus really weirdly and it is not an enjoyable feeling afterwards

also like every so often it wont register my keyboard click when i hit a note. like i know im not the best at this so it might just be me but i am super sure i was on the spot

4/5 will definitely be plaiyng a lot more

this is one of the best online games i have ever played. like nothing feels greater that piloting a giant mech and blowing up other mechs. everthing in this game is incredibly beautiful too, and i have to paly on the lowest settings and it still looks better than a lot of other games ive played. if you want an epic online shooter then look no furthur. this is you game (and its free so yeah)
