A few months ago, a friend linked me to the trailer for this, and it looked really good. I forgot all about it until I saw it on the front page during a sale. When I saw it, and realized what game I was looking at, I picked it up immediately. I've since been picking away at it for the better part of a week or so. It's so much fun! It hits a sweet spot of difficulty where bosses can feel overwhelming at first, but persistence and learning their attacks makes them fall surprisingly easily. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the Metroidvania genre, or anyone who just enjoyed Metal Slug.

This game is very relaxing and zen. Perfect for if you've had a bad day or are just looking to chill for a bit. Throw on a podcast or video in the background and set about cleaning up all the dirt that's everywhere in this town. There are a few occasional hitches when I look at the background from certain angles, but it's never enough to drag the experience down. It also doesn't happen if you're looking down at the dirt!

It's pretty good, yeah.

As of the time of writing this review, I have more than 500 hours logged in this game. To say that I enjoy it would be an understatement. The game was published more than 5 years ago, and the developers are still putting out free updates for it even as recently as last week. These updates are full of content that the devs could have easily charged money for, but they've all been for free. So there's absolutely no reason to not buy this and give it a try.

This game is like the insane love child of Diablo and the Binding of Isaac. It's fun as heck and you need to buy it like yesterday. Seriously.

This game is amazing. It's a top-down twin stick shooter in space where you blow up other ships. Also the game can use your own music. So you can kick ass all set to the soundtrack of that anime you like. You know which one I'm talking about.

Also be sure to turn the effects down to 50%. Trust me, when I say this. It actually makes the game playable. Unless you like randomly dying from crap you can't see because of insane bloom effects.

This is such a cute little fun game. Your little robot dude digs up minerals that you sell back in town which lets you buy upgrades. These upgrades let you dig out tougher rock, letting you progress further.

It's really quite relaxing digging out the tunnels. A must-buy!
