I played this game for about 90 minutes so I could get a refund if i really need to.
To say this is a finished game is just not true, there's just so many oversights that may seem insignificant to a developer trying to rush a game out for a deadline, but matter when it determines the overall worth of the game to the player. I'm frankly tired of over-hyped games with "brand new" ideas only to see them half baked and crapped out. The combat is fine but the pea shooter pistol seems a bit weak, the enemies aren't really fearsome, they're more stupid then anything else. The level geometry is worse then indie developed titles from 2012. Reminds me more of a novice CSGO map, with floating stairs, random floating objects, trees and bushes just sorta in places they shouldn't. When you fall into the water you are teleported back from where you were before you fell in (pretty lazy), the water doesn't have any sort of liquid overlay on the screen and you just plop right onto the ground as if water doesn't affect your gravity. If you tried to walk into the water, you're met with a invisible wall. There's cases with items placed exactly looking at broken level geometry so you know the devs had to have seen it, but ignored it. Small things like having items automatically stack to the equipped items should be a given. Saving is really just confusing, and you're introduction to the robots is completely underwhelming. Like how you see the spooky scene set up in the starting house but the robots are too small to seem that deadly, and no other houses have that spooky of a scene ever again. There's missed opportunities to introduce the player with their first interaction with a robot, there could have been a bot in the house that chased you out, or one by the police car that could scare you back to the house to which you could plan on how you could kill the robot. Instead you're given a crap load of ammo and the robots are just there at the dock chilling out. Knowing Avalanche Studios this comes to no surprise that this game was released unfinished and will probably stay that way. I want to like it, i love the aesthetic, i love the setting, i love the amount of depth the devs went into to produce Swedish content. I don't however love a FOV of 50, and an unfinished game.

TL:DR
Another rushed game by Avalanche Studios, enjoy a grind fest on an island filled with dumb robots

I've been playing since alpha, many improvements have been made to the game almost every day trying to optimize or adjust mechanics. While it's a bit of a change of pace from Insurgency 2, it uses mechanics from one of my favorite games, Day of Infamy. Taking it from slowpaced teamwork to high octane teamwork. Most of those looking for the same sneaky and slow pace from Ins2 will be able to find something to enjoy in a team based version of their game.

I will continue to play this game with hopes that more and more optimization and content are added

I've been playing since beta, It's a very fun card game that is simple to understand and get better at. I have not been interested or was able to get attached to any card game before Artifact, and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice to see a Valve game release.

Early Access Review
I was excited for the alpha of the game with all the characters unlocked, but ever since they added a $25 cap to the rest of the characters that are actually fun I have been incredibly dissapointed. Cannot say I recommend in it's current state if it realistically wants to compete with Slap City, or Rivals of Aether. I want to like this, especially for the teams work on PM, but it's impossible.

EDIT: reconsidering my evaluation after the recent changes to game making it easier to obtain characters. will post new review soon.

NEWEST EDIT: what the heck this game doesn't even work anymore i can't even play it to make a new review yikes

I played Cefore in the first Alpha release on steam back in september, and I have to say its still a fun game.
There's a lot more improved in the early access release and with passionate devs that are quick to make fixes I most certainly see myself playing this more and more as more updates come out.

As previously mentioned it's in early access and for that reason I spend a majority of my time trying to find funny bugs, glitches and exploits to send to the devs via the super active Discord. Of course devs are more then happy to help and laugh alongside you when it comes to these such things.

Gameplay is straight forward and has a very rewarding feeling when you've completed a level, which is extra rewarding when a level is beat in a not so typical way. The progression system presents with you very cute introductions to mechanics of the game, so as to say it has very nice level pacing.

The sandbox creates a great oppurtunity to be highlighted for your creative structures, as you can turn the last 10 seconds into a gif to be displayed on the main menu, not just to yourself but everyone looking at the main menu. Not to mention it's pretty fun to just mess around in.

TL;DR its a good game, it's in alpha, you can have fun with devs.

p.s. you can get a hat of your own choosing added to the game, i.e. thread with the hat I requested

Fortnite is free and practically bugless. This "fully released" game is buggy. Easy choice honestly.

edit: (Link for Radical Heights)
play this game instead, anything to keep pubg from being successful is ok with me.'

edit of edit: Don't play radical heights, development is dead, also pubg is still unfun, try black ops 4 if you want something smoother but still looking for "realism"

I really like this game, when I heard there was gonna be a Payday 2 related game set in WW2 I was excited. I played the beta and made sure to have my friends play with me. My initial thoughts were solely enjoyment.

Pros: Freedom to do a level however you want. No skins. Fun levels without excessive DLC. Skill groups are limited but easier. A fine selection of WW2 weapons. Good multiplayer fun.

Cons: Absolutely not worth it to buy the pre-order or special edition. It's all cosmetic differences but is nothing "special" persay. AI is still buggy, (Spawning in poles or in the cliffs of Trainwreck) Flame guy is way too overpowered in my opinion. Bodies that die inside walls or doors stay inside said walls and doors.

Other comments: Lots of the negative reviews are just whining about graphics and it being like Payday. Honestly stay away from these toxic reviews and look for more mechanics related reviews.

EDIT: If repetition to succeed through level development is not your fortay why did you buy a game like Payday.

Best WW2 Game of 2017
