Controls are incredibly clunky. the UI is absolutely awful. trying to click on certain object just makes the character do something completely different because of these awful controls. For instance trying to move a character to one floor above or below requires 5 to 10 clicks before it does the right command, sometimes you have to spin the camera multiple times just to visibly see the location you want to move to in order to click there. This is incredibly vexing especially when you clicking somewhere that's quite clear and obvious to go to yet the game refuses to do so. It completely ruins moments where you plan for an escape but the game just decides to ♥♥♥♥ you over. Another example is when you command to assassinate a target that has just rushed into your vicinity and again the cursor refuses to acknowledge your target, and so your character is left standing there doing some glitching dance around your target whilst he continuously shoots you point blank. Another one is when you command a character to do an environmental action, for instance knock over a rack to provide some low cover, if you choose to move slowly and crouched towards the objective, the guards do not see you whilst you are in the animation of pushing the rack (when the animation clearly shows the character standing), but then when you are able to run towards it before the guard spots you, somehow the guard will be alerted when your character is in exactly the same animation of pushing the rack as it were when moving slowly towards it. It just doesn't make sense because in both cases if you were not spotted before reaching the objective, why would the guard all of a sudden be able to spot you during objective animation just because you decided to get there a little bit quicker?
There are many little nuisances throughout the game similar to this and although it may seem petty, they all add up to make what could have been a well polished game into an irksome exercise of save scumming and constant reloading because of these tiresome "mistakes".
For a game that focuses on planning and moving around the map, these sort of things should really be a lot more user-intuitive. Except it isn't which is really frustrating because if done well, this game would be so much more enjoyable. And so I can't recommend this overrated game as the gameplay isn't enjoyable for me and will be merely finishing it for the story and achievements. Such a shame really...

This game, along with 2 mods, are now stuck in my library forever because my friends told me to download them. I am ashamed that they appear on my account and a tear falls from my eye everytime I see it.

Thank you Saif.
