If you have a nice computer, the game runs great. It isn't next gen so don't get your hopes up yet but maybe with the next release. I use a generic gaming controller and the game runs better than on my current gen console. All the same issues with 2K still exist but if you're wondering if the PC version is legit, it is. The only problem is that the online modes have a lower player base so it can be hard to find enough other players for Rec and some of the MyTeam modes. MyLeague and offline modes don't miss a beat from 2K24 on consoles.

I have over 500 hours in the original LIF (before Steam and before your own). The idea is promising and although it's tough, life is feudal. When it originally came out years ago, the bugs and missing QoL elements were acceptable. They never really got addressed and basically everyone left the game.

Their recent marketing push with a new map was promising and many players returned to see if they really gave this game a hardcore pass and brought it to where it should be.

I'm sorry to say it's exactly the same. There is some fun to be had but it's dreadfully tedious and the world is just as barren as it ever way.

Still looking for a game that can put it all together.

Very good game. It's a mix between Terreria, Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress. It's from the same makers of Don't Starve. The coding is amazing - runs smooth as possible. It's amazing what they've done with liquid and gas states and their flow and movement throughout the map. Still on the first planet. On my 4th restart and actually have bathrooms with running water and sewer. Only 14 hours in at the writing of this. Expecting to get 300+ hours out of this game. Absolute gem.

DLC for one of the greatest games of all time from the legendary Tynan Sylvester himself? What more could you ask for? This DLC could be double the price and it would still be a steal. I praise thee o' Lord Tynan!!!

Honestly I thought I was prepared but this game is just too boring for me. Lot's of objects that aren't interactable takes away from the realism. If you like questing and movie-like games you may enjoy.

Good game but DLC gets expensive.

I've already gotten my money's worth - game is good so far, hoping the devs stick with it.

I played ROK and remember everything. Was okay with the bugs because it was EA and understandable. Was not okay with rampant hackers, that is why I left. If they can keep hackers under control in Heat and keep updating, I will keep playing.

This is simply one of the greatest games of all time. If you like RTS games, there is no excuse for not having RimWolrd in your library - just look at my Steam hours and double them since I bought RimWorld well before it was released on Steam. One of my best purchases of all time!
