A very interesting combination between a card game and a strategical board game where players place tiles in a hexagonal grid, summon monsters and try to destroy the opponent's monsters and god. The cards can be collected by playing through the single player content such as missions, puzzles, boss battles and Pandora runs where you draft a deck. In addition, you can easily play against your friends, the AI and even other players both in ranked and unranked mode, as well as with your friends in online co-op battles, as well as the Oversky mode.

I'd first try the base game first to see if you actually like the game, and then buy the DLC if it turns out that you do. Unfortunately, you have to play through some single player content first to really unlock a fair collections of cards and game modes before you can play with/against your friends.

Get Worms W.M.D. instead. This game is completely lacklustre. It is as if a another company tried to implement a Worms clone, lacked inspiration and failed to re-implement the mechanics of old classics like Armageddon and Worms World Party. Worms W.M.D. not only lives up to the spirit of these old classics, but also adds new interesting items and features on top to keep the overall game play interesting.

If you ever played Railroad Tycoon 3, and enjoyed that, then you will probably also enjoy Railway Empire. In Railway Empire, you have to manage a flow of goods between rural areas and cities based on demand/supply by building rail roads and buying and setting up trains to bring those goods. However, this game also adds many elements from games like Offworld Trading Company like a stock market, the ability to buy-out your competition, sabotage, etc. to make it really interesting to play against your competition. Unfortunately, here is where the game falls short: it has all the ingredients to offer a marvelous co-op and multiplayer experience, yet the developers decided to focus purely on a single player experience.

If you are fine with a single player campaign, and if you are looking for an experience similar to Railroad Tycoon 3, then I would definitely recommend this game. What could have turned this from an OK game into an excellent game would be the ability to play this game with and against your friends.
