There is no meaningful sense of progression, as you cannot do even the most basic things without feeling powerless. The power-ups are nearly indistinguishable from not having one. There are annoying mechanics, like melee weapons that have durability and disappear after a certain time without any indication of how many uses are left.

It's a shame, as the art style, voice acting, and controls are not bad.

Sadly, this is a chore to play, not a joy.

HARD PASS.

I've played a lot of FPS and RPG games (my Steam library has so many that I just haven't finished).

Destiny 2 is just not fun.
- Let's throw the player out of bounds that even a triple jumping hunter can't get back into. Oh no respawns. Start over.
- Tiresome mechanics from the early 2000s
- Jumping puzzles
- Bullet sponge enemies (like Ubisoft's The Division 2)
- A story that is so truncated for us new players I had to find a YouTube video to get the entire gist.

Yes there's a lot of "git gud" people out there, but as someone who regularly carries a Super Helldive (hardest difficulty) team with zero deaths in Helldivers 2, I think I know my way around a difficult game.

Just not fun. At all.

Such a fun game! Bought it about 30 minutes after trying the demo. Retro graphics, tower defense, upgrades... It's like a rogue-lite with TD elements. Great fun.

Yes, but only if they fix the disconnect bug. It's a waste of time to play a game that relies on online connectivity for progression if your progress is wiped out just because your network connection is lost for 1 second. They need to institute better network code.

Bottom line: Fun when it works. Not fun when you're played the better part of an hour and the game crashes, making you lose all your progress.

UPDATE: It's fun when you can get a game that doesn't crash, lag out, or just become a bullet hell. Not worth my time right now.

So challenging yet so rewarding. Be aggressive. Press the attack. Resist the urge to camp or cheese.

Despite some existing glitches, I find this game very enjoyable. It's a power fantasy that has a rewards satisfying gunplay as well as hacking power.

Really fun game with a rock, papers, scissors combat system. Good storytelling as well.

I absolutely hate this game. Not because it's a bad game, but because literally one enemy type (the damn cyber dolphins) can literally ruin a run by themselves.

Couldn't fracking finish the Cryptark mission because they just kept on coming.
