A lively, cyberpunk environment with lots of action. So far so good. One crash.

It's a wonderful co-op game and a well-thought out environment. Would love more enemy diversity though.

A puzzle game in zero G with some fun dynamics. It's oddly relaxing, and the soundtrack is amazing. I listen to it even when I'm not playing.

Graphics: very clear and sharp
Gameplay: makes you think and fun
Worth it? Yeah!

I haven't enjoyed a game like this in a long time. I was a Kickstarter backer because I loved Syndicate so much back in the day. This game improves on it in every way. Sometimes, it feels like an isometric puzzler tied with an RTS.

AI: 3/5 - The AI is really dumb. I've actually had agents ignore the still warm bodies of their colleagues and not alert. One time an enemy trooper actually caught my hunkered down agents by surprise, alerted, then just went back to un-alert status and sauntered away. Your agents are similarly idiotic, and never return fire if fired upon. It would have been better if they had at least put in the Syndicate AI which had agents return fire if fired upon.
Controls: 4/5 - Suitable once you learn them. I do wish the red border that indicates an agent has a weapon drawn would carry over even if the agent is not selected. A small thing, but it's gotten me unwanted attention at times. :)
Weapon and Tech Variety:5/5 - Solid, though as a stealth enthusiast, I went for silenced pistols wherever I could.
Sound Design: 4/5 (I wish there were more variety in sounds as well as music, but what they have is great).
Value: 5/5
Replayability: 4/5 (not so much the missions, but you can penetrate the security of secure compounds for the fun of it and challenge yourself). I like how you can make each agent so versatile (e.g. give stealth to hacker, give hacker ability to infiltrator).

Bottom line: If you're a fan of the original MS-DOS Syndicate, you'll absolutely love this game. The cars don't run you over randomly in this one (which was so annoying in the original). I do miss the original Syndicate music, but these developers took those mechanics and kicked them up to 11.

TL;DR - A beautiful mix of third person shooter + puzzler with horror elements. Get this game!

This isn't a video game so much as it is art and storytelling told through a game wrapper. The unique story made me believe in the medium again.

Maddeningly hard, even on "Easy". You don't win this game, you just lose a little less each time.

This game is the epitome of the phrase, "Fish or cut bait."

More than a trip down memory lane.

Pros: New stuff! The graphics are sharper (you can toggle between original and the sharpened remastered versions on the fly), we have build queues now, and you can enjoy either classic music or the updated versions.

Cons: You'll still yell at how stupid your harvesters are when wandering into enemy fire. Your troops will still ignore incoming fire on their comrades until your entire squad is dead.

I played this instead of sleeping. It is that good.

Buy this is you like games that draw you into a world, rogue-likes, and loot.

Controls: 8/10 - The delay in control execution is sometimes frustratingly slow.
Visuals: 10/10 - I was constantly pausing to admire the scenery.
Environment: 9/10 - Each planet has its own personality, and is very Star Warsy.
Gameplay: 9/10 - I do like the exploration, but I get lost easily, so it was annoying to have to find my way back to the ship every time.
