A puzzle game masquerading as an RTS.

In many missions, if you don't execute the plan exactly as the designer intended, YOU WILL LOSE even on normal difficulty.
Have fun reloading a dozen times...
Oh and, there's an unskippable cut scene every time.
Also if you actually lose before you hit Esc to restart, there's no option to restart the mission there.
You just get reprimanded by your supervisor in the game and are apparently expected to take the loss right on your nose.

The Nova Cannon also doesn't shoot where I clicked. It seems to snap to some sort of grid that is very coarse. Making it vastly inaccurate.

I don't know if the sequel breaks from this ridiculous display of inanity and monotony.

Can't even play against AI/Bots when what seems like the matchmaking servers are offline.

Get 2018 edition instead! It's a better, much deeper, more developed and better looking version of this.

This is a really shallow game. A Dwarf Fortress for todlers.
I wish I could remove it from my library, but alas, I can only hide it...

Old but not at all gold.
As far as I can tell this is themepark taken to the extreme. Even the dungeons are part of the story... This might be because most of the quests are either kill or fetch, which the dull combat unfortunately can't make up for.
Mounts seem to be entirely useless since you very early learn to practically fly across half the damn map on your own.
The UI is also very clunky. Many screens could be much simpler and some like the Eidolon (pet) could even be combined into one. The mouse cursor will even interact with UI elements when you hold right click to turn the camera, making you often accidentally click on abilities and potions.
There is also no preview on costumes so you can't even see what you are buying for your money. Good luck guessing how you will look only from the name...
