By this point in time, I've spent over 304 hours of my life playing this game. It is a game of both critical thinking or great fun should you not desire to think critically about your designs, note that it is and will still be fun when you use critical thinking because that is what engineering is about. I have flown hundreds upon hundreds of kilometers and have fought many many fights both on the ground, in a small ship, and in really big ships and I have mined entire asteroids yet I still have not seen the end of creativity and possibility with this game for it is truly limitless from my experience. If you are a person who loves building things and gets a kick from blowing stuff up, then this game is for you, and I promise that you will never regret buying and playing this game, to prove it, I will put one of my experiences below.

One of the greatest experiences I've ever had while playing this game was in a multiplayer server, people were flying everywhere and fighting, some of them raming, and I had just crashed on an asteroid and had to wait for my friend to pick me up, but he did not know where I was so I had to create a beacon, which I did by taking apart an old station I found inside the asteroid, which sent out a signal saying S.O.S, this not only solved my problem of my friend not being able to find me, but it also created the problem of a bunch of playings humting me down. I was forced to retreat into the asteroid as the barrages of rockets and gunfire came down but I was just setting myself up for a trap, the entire area was closed off and the ships were able to come in, so I grabbed my drill and burrowed into the wall. As the guy was flying towards me, another person came flying in as well and so they started shooting eachothers' ships effectively destroying eachother, once they were done in their little dog fight, I managed to sneak up behind hiw to where I pulled out my assault rifle and shot the cockpit untill it exploded and killed the last guy. My friend had just gotten to the area I was at, so we scaveneged all the parts we could from the wreckage and flew off several kilometers away where we started setting up our main base living happily until a much later point where someone had their faction and came in with like 5 different large ships and totally annihilated it, and so, a new journey of revenge began but with no end. We built a whole field of "magnetic" mines around our new base and waited for someone to come, and they did.
