Early Access Review
Angels Fall First offers a compelling blend of infantry, vehicular, and space combat rarely seen in the FPS genre. Its well-realized sci-fi universe and diverse arsenal for both factions create a dynamic and engaging experience. While not without its flaws, AFF provides a refreshing take on combined arms warfare that will appeal to discerning fans of sci-fi shooters.

Extremely fun and engaging. Palworld takes the best parts Pokemon, Ark and Breath of the Wild and mashes them together to create a gameplay loop that keeps you coming back for more. I haven't run into any major bugs in my 15 hours of gameplay, but there some mechanics that feel a bit rough around the edges. However, it's still one of the most polished early access titles I've played. Performance-wise it runs better than most AAA games that have come out in recent years.

Starfield is fantastic and, in my opinion, the best game Bethesda’s ever put out. It’s not perfect—the inventory UI is a hassle to navigate, for one—but most of the issues can be sorted out with mods. Sure, it’s frustrating we have to rely on mods to fix things the developers overlooked, but that’s not new for Bethesda. Skyrim and Fallout 4 were the same way, and people still love those games.

I think Starfield is seriously underrated. All the hate it’s gotten since launch feels overblown and unfair. The graphics are beautiful—planets, space and the main cities look amazing—and it’s well-optimized, running over 100 FPS in most areas with a ton of mods to boot. The gunplay is a huge step up from anything in the Fallout series; it’s tight, the weapons are cool, and zipping around with a boost pack while ganking enemies is a ton of fun. The missions are intriguing and mostly well-written, though I’ll admit the main Constellation storyline gets repetitive and doesn’t quite live up to the rest. The UC Vanguard faction quests, though? Absolute standout. And there are so many great side missions I can’t even list them all. Also, the voice acting is fantastic throughout.

There’s just a ton to do here. You’ve got faction storylines, exploration, ground combat, space combat, bounty hunting, piracy, ship boarding, mining, trading, smuggling, crafting, outpost building, ship customization—the list goes on. I’ve lost hours tinkering with my ship or setting up bases, and I’m still finding new stuff to mess with.

My biggest complaint is the tone. The “NASA-punk” aesthetic is cool, but it feels a bit too safe. Everything’s a little too clean for my taste. The game definitely pushes you toward playing the “good guy” with its quests and dialogue choices, which isn’t forced but still noticeable. I wish Bethesda had leaned more into the darker, grittier side of sci-fi. There are some missions with that vibe, but not nearly enough.

It’s a real shame Starfield didn’t get the high praise and sales of past Bethesda titles. There’s so much here to enjoy, and I hope the negativity doesn’t stop them from adding more content down the line. If you like space games with that Bethesda touch, this one’s worth your time.

TL;DR: Starfield is a gorgeous, content-packed gem that’s better than the hate suggests. Mods smooth out the rough spots, and it’s a solid 9/10 for me.

Pixelmash is my favorite pixel art tool. It's like a swiss army knife for pixel art and keeps getting better with every update. It's not overly complicated and offers everything I need to make great pixel art, sprites and gifs.

First of all, let me say this: the graphics in this game are simply magical! From the stunningly rendered Hogwarts castle to the fur of a puffskein, every detail has been meticulously crafted to transport you to the wizarding world.

But it's not just about the looks, oh no! This game has some serious spell-casting prowess. I found myself whipping my wand around like a pro, conjuring up all sorts of mischievous spells to defeat my enemies. And let me tell you, there's nothing more satisfying than taking down a pack of Goblins with a well-placed "Avada Kedavra"!

The character customization is also top-notch, allowing you to create a wizard or witch that truly represents your unique style. You can even customize your wand, and later in the game, your broom. It's the little things that make this game so delightful!

Now, I won't sugarcoat it - some of the side quests can be a bit repetitive. But the main story more than makes up for it. I was on the edge of my broomstick (I mean, seat) the entire time, eagerly anticipating what would happen next.

In conclusion, Hogwarts Legacy is an absolute must-play for any fan of the Harry Potter series or anyone who's looking for a bit of magic in their lives. So what are you waiting for? Accio your credit card and buy this game!

It's fun but the controller support is buggy and inconsistent. Can't recommend for anyone who wants to play with a controller.

This game rocks. It could use some polish, but look past the rough edges and you will find an extremely fun game. It's also surprisingly well-optimized and runs great on my Quest 2 using link or virtual desktop.

Gordian Quest is a unique gem among the many deckbuilding games released in recent years. It combines the best of deckbuilding with essential RPG mechanics to create a gameplay loop that is challening, but not impossible, and highly engaging. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of options available in terms of classes, cards, and loot which afford multiple playstyles and replayability. There's also a ton of different enemies to encounter and epic boss battles. The cherry on top is the fantastic artwork, which is some of the best in the genre.

Awesome game that has become much better since release. It's still not exactly what CD Projekt Red promised before release, but it's still fun and has a lot going for it.
