Ive played kuboom a ton, both on PC and on mobile. (yes this is a mobile game) and i can say, its not worth getting into. and here's why:

its pay to win for one, but that shouldnt be a suprise because its a F2P fps game. but the part that sucks is that the devs dont seem to know how to manage their stuff well, and you can just lose an account.
no, im not kidding, your account (on mobile) has a chance to just randomly vanish. ive had this happen to me twice. the first being resolved the next day. the second...
yeah, my 3 year old mobile account is gone. but the problems on mobile dont end, theres problems with PC. and its that its dead, with almost no bots to take up players place. if youre grinding kuboom on steam, youre gonna have your income of currency's cut in half because of the long wait times, and updates are few and far between. i played the same steam version of kuboom as i did when i first made my steam account. in mid 2020. the steam version is outdated, buggy, and unloved by its developers, as the original mobile version gets all the attention. but even the mobile version isnt good, because its a pay to win fps with your account having a chance of ending up my steam wallet after getting 3 cents. gone!
and the worst part is not only are the devs incompitent, they are lazy. in the mobile version, you can watch ads for chests that give you free gear, and in the PC port, the same offer is there, but it doesnt work.
not only that, you can see little bits of the mobile version being left in. like the respawn screen telling you to press space to respawn, but theres a fingerprint from the mobile version, where it tells you to tap. and sometimes, you can see the joystick from the mobile version, even though this version of the game isnt for your phone.
the only plus sides to kuboom is that its really well optimized for low end computers, you can play it anywhere, and its not too big of a game. but with all the problems it has, that simply isnt enough.

This is an amazing game, however, its quite dead. you're not going to find real players often, so i highly suggest getting a bots mod (like foxbot 0.77) to play. if you don't, there are servers with bots in them. it runs well on bad/old computers, even my HP celeron toaster tron can run it very well, and its pretty small as well. (game size will grow if you join servers with mods/extra maps) and the best part is, when you download the game, you have everything in the game. there's no grinding for new items, there's no buying better gear, the only thing you have to grind, is getting better at the game. absolutely worth buying. if you like shooters, or if you want some cool games and you have a piece of crap computer, buy this.

quick tips:
1: turn off V-sync for better performance
2: its a bit buggy sometimes
3: ive heard that admins on this game are a bit nasty sometimes, so if you don't like that, play singleplayer against bots.
4: NEVER PLAY IN RESOLUTIONS LOWER THAN 640X480! Going into fulscreen on these low resolutions traps you in them, because you cant see the whole options menu. and if you go low enough, you cant play because the find lobby and create lobby buttons are gone.

its gotta be an 8/10 for me. it runs well, super fun, foxbot's are actually pretty smart. (or maybe im just really bad) and you dont have to worry about how well you do. just get out there and blow things up, however, its dead, buggy, and V-sync screws up your game, and that's not good, because its important (in my opinion)

this game is pretty neat! it has an original idea, its fast paced, and really fun to play, like, REALLY fun to play. like, team fortress 2 levels of fun to play. i cant really say much more as of now, cuz i only have 1 hour on this game, but here are some things I think this game really needs:

A way to lower the resolution, or nuke the graphics more so less powerful pc,s can play the game better.
More Guns, i found out this game has no Shotgun, LMG, Dmr, Smg, or melee weapons.
A way to browse all rooms currently available, has players in it, and are not full.
Classes, Maybe? like a Ranger class that gets a bonus for using a sniper, or a scout class that does more damage with pistols and smgs, but less damage with snipers and Lmgs

The best part about this game, is how good it feels to kill someone, its so satisfying to see someone miss you 2 times with the sniper, and pull out your bazooka and yeet them into gamer rage land.

My Rating:
This game is super fun to play, has (except the bazooka) balanced guns, and almost anyone can play it. however, this game is not very populated, has little weapon options, and lacks many features that almost any First person shooter needs, like server browsing, more that one map, and extra controls, like crouching, and aiming.

I give this game a 6.5 / 10 super easy to download and play (my pc, whom rivals a toaster plays this game at 26-30 fps)
Again, VERY fun to play, but i wont be too surprised if i found out this game is not finished yet due to all the stuff it does not have, but really should.

This game is great! a perfect choice for low end pc owners, Its a 2d shooter game that you can get for free, but don`t need to buy stuff all the time! a balanced not pay to win shooter completely for free! that being said, this game is BRUTAL. most players who play this game are really good. and bots at low difficulty seemingly have aimbot. and don`t even get me started on the amount of different things you can turn this game into with mods. i rate this game a 8.5/10. its quite old, (first made in 2002) but that won`t stop this game from being awesome.

This game is very good! but, i think the maps are way too small for 8 players. also, ied love to see a class that spawns with a sniper rifle of some kind, and perhaps some larger maps. that`s all, keep up the good work!

this game is perfect. well, its not a game, per say...
its more of just the half life sorce code made into a sandbox "game"
you can make anything, do anything, you can even create other games with this!
if you have 10 bucks to spare, i reccomend you get this.

Blockpost Is both lots of fun, and super frustrating. after 2 prior reviews, I have been able to Experience being a free to play player, Pay to win player, and an annoying try-hard at some point. Its loads of fun to play, You can place blocks and break blocks, And 99% of any map can be destroyed. allowing for lots of different strategies. Its super unique. and its being updated again, so that's great. but it still suffers from the same problem. being Pay to Win. If you wanna play the game for free, Its perfectly playable, and you can win just fine if you have skill, and good strategy. but why do that when you can buy an AK-Alpha for 3 bucks and kill anyone in 2 shots?
You can practice, and train yourself, and grind for hours. and win the game just fine.
Or you can also spend 5 bucks on a gun, learn the most basic building strats, and be able to murder anyone.
The worst part is, Your paid guns come from 2 places, the steam market, or lootboxes. but when you look past the pay to win part of the game, (or buy stuff and not have to worry about it) you realize its actually a really fun game. Pretty much any computer can run it. I had a laptop with 4GB of ram and a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CPU with Intel UHD600 GPU, and i played at 100 frames per second.

I recommend you try it out, But only if you have a really awful computer, or if you're willing to buy a few weapons. here are the ones i recommend:

AK47, Deagle, Musket, Karambit, AA-12, Scout, Glock 18, Sv-98, G3, Veresk, M249, and Maxim-9.
There are much better weapons, but they're expensive.
(and for the love of god, don't buy cases, go to the steam market.)
