This game is so much fun. I have had access to this game since the end of Summer 2016, as I was in the closed alpha testing, then the closed beta testing.

This is a great game, and it gets better and better with each update. If you have been looking for an actual good Battle Royale game, who better to make one then the inventor of the genre? This game is like a mix between PLAYERUNKNOWN's earlier trial at BR with the Arma 3 mod, and his most recent prior to this game in H1Z1.

It has the fast paced action of H1Z1:KOTK with the mechanics and gunplay of Arma 3's mod. Optimization right now is a bit on the poor side, but with each update it gets better and better. I am able to get 40-80 FPS (wide range, depends on if I am in an empty airplane hangar, or a crowded building with lots of gun fire) on a GTX 980, and a i5 4570. Noticeable after each update are frame rate increases, just proof that this game is here to get ♥♥♥♥ done, rather than stay in early access for 5 years *cough cough dayz cough cough*.

On day one of EA, this game is already more polished than some, if not most games that left it already. This game is definetely reccomended to fans of the Battle Royale genre, the game crafted by the man who created it. In my opinion, $30 is a great price for this game, as if you enjoy BR you will definetly be putting a LOT of time into it.



As a sidenote, a personal tip is to set the game to HIGH priority in windows task manager, I get noticeably better performance.

I have a hard time understanding where the hate for this game comes from. I crashed once so far at the train station, which is a known thing they are working to fix, lost a bit of progress but made it back in 10 minutes. After that it didn't happen again, and we are good to go. I paid $48 for this game and I got around a 30 hour game if you don't just strictly follow the story and do nothing else. I'm not upset about DLC, like I said I got the story I paid for, if theres a little bit of additional content I can play before a paywall comes into place, that is fine by me. Nobody is forcing you to buy the DLC, ammo packs, ect. They are just there. People wouldn't care if it wasn't there, but giving you a tiny bit of free content then making you pay for the rest is wrong? You DON'T have to participate in it, you can play the entire Campaign of the camp unharmed without ever spending more then your $60. People complain when they are part of the main story, people complain when they are not. I understand that they are not wanted all together but they do make money off of microtransactions and they simply are not going to go away. I think this is the best way to do it, the people with money to blow will blow it on this, people who don't will be content with the main game.

This game seems to be the best example (at least that I have played) of the possibilities and interactions that can be made with VR. Very cool seeing another person sitting in front of you and talking to them.

This is why I am so glad Valve has really been a leader in the field of indie titles, launching their GreenLight initiative. It allows AAA titles made by indie devs of the likes of Ruby to publish their masterpieces to the publics eye, when before they wouldn't even have a chance.

I don't want to spoil this game for you, so I will just leave it at saying this game is a masterpiece.

It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

Game was alright, didn't enjoy it as much as I did the two games that came after it "The Beginners Guide" and "
Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist". Still enjoyed playing it, not much replay value though and quite a short game for the tag of $15.

Really cool game. The maps are very neat and the graphics are great courtesy of the UE4 engine. Each map seems like it has it's own game mode. The devs said they are adding maps and new game modes frequently and vehicles are on the way. Once it is out for a bit and all the bugs are fixed it will be a good time.

Had some issues, followed reccomended fix, worked fine in multiplayer which is all I will be playing anyway. People may be having issues but I haven't experienced them. Sad just because it is call of duty it gets negative reviews, yet if it was Fallout 4 having the same problems, people would give Bethesda plenty of room to work with.

Really cool game. One of those games that make you start to question lots of stuff. Also the first game I played with the steam controller, and it was pretty cool.
