10/10 best MMOARPG on the market.

There's few ARPGs with as much class diversity as lost ark, every class has a unique element that plays a core role in your gameplay.

The game has a main focus on PvE with very varying content such as AoE mob clearing, 4 man raids, 8 man raids and tons of collectibles you can collect to get rewards. These collectible systems interact with each other, pushing you towards collecting everything in order to unlock the best rewards.

The PvP in the game is very fast paced and punishing, being interrupted puts your skils on cooldown and there is very limited healing in the game. Gear is normalized in the instanced, 3v3 arena mode. Gear is not normalized in Guild vs Guild or PvP islands.

The cash shop offers pay 4 convenience features and there is a cash shop - ingame currency exchange, allowing players to buy cash shop items with currencies they earn through playing the game. There is an optional subscription. While the launch experience wasn't exactly top notch with a lot of miscommunication, the Korean developer holds a tight grip on the game and ensures the game doesn't get ruined by a greedy megacorp.

Just about every boardgame and cardgame you can imagine is in the workshop (except munchkin, because Peter Jackson Games is scared), so if you want to play Uno or Eldritch Horror with your friends, then this is a good solution. I don't have VR, so I don't know how well the VR mode is.

@Peter Jackson Games We. Want. Munchkin.

The game itself is fun, but I'll explain why I still do not recommend it:

The technical limitations are hard on this game. You cannot turn objects, and with the amount of space you get, its very hard to afford multiple rooms, rather than 1 big office.
Also, the game is very linear, and offers no replayability aside from higher difficulties, moving to a new city adds 1 mechanic, and increases all the numbers. After a total of 4 cities, you'll have seen everything the game has to offer.

Early Access Review
This game is getting not enough attention for what it is. If you hate MOBAs, this DOES NOT mean this game isn't for you.
PROs:
Everything is a skillshot, so you can dodge everything
Heal spamming is deincenvitized by reducing max HP when you got damaged and didn't heal up straight away
Supports are not healbots, but have the same if not more impact than other champions
Short rounds (6-15 minutes max)
Doesn't require too many people (2v2 or 3v3)
Reading your enemy is very rewarding (Counter mechanic)
For MOBA players: its like a MOBA where the teamfight is the gameplay, and everything is a skillshot
Playtime doesn't affect ingame (No runes/masteries/cards w.e), only characters are locked behind playtime.

CONs:
Small group size (can't be played with huge groups of people)
Steep learning curve
Small player base (Queue time is fast though, <30 seconds usually)

Neutral:
Slow ranked system (slow rankups/rankdowns)
No pay2win, characters have to be unlocked with ingame currency though. Cosmetics are lootbox+manual unlock with duplicate currency
Small character pool. This makes balance not as difficult, but some people like to have 100+ heroes that are streamlined

This is a game for you if you:
  • want a game that always challenges you
  • don't like to play alone (1v1)
  • have friends that play the game aswell
  • want to participate in a global community, that has some influence on patches (reddit is relevant on this)
  • like(d) RTS games and are looking for something new
  • really want to dedicate yourself to a single game
  • enjoy learning something new every day
  • can handle a steep learning curve
  • love games with very different characters, each getting played a slightly different way
  • like shifting meta - balance changes often enough will keep the game fresh even for the more dedicated people
  • like long games with different phases during a match: the more time passes, the more teamplay is required. 30 min is a minimum for a normal match.
  • want to practice russian with native speakers. Doesn't matter whether you live in south east asia or west coast america, you will meet some online, though in higher skill brackets they tend to be more friendly and often won't even get noticed
  • can stand a little bit of flame - it's not as toxic as people advertise it, but if you play a lot you will most likely find one or two every day. Just report them, they will get punished within a few days if they are offending regularly

This game is nothing for you if you:
  • are looking for a game easy to pick up
  • have little time to dedicate to a game
  • give up early
  • tend to flame a lot. This game heavily punishes flamers, you will get chatbanned rather early, after that the low priority will make sure you don't want to play anymore, only being matched with similar players that constantly leave the game or flame.
  • don't have friends to play it with - there are people who play solo just fine, but most of us started with friends, because learning the basics alone can be VERY frustrating

  • are looking for a side game to play aside from others - this game will either be draining your time or be not your type of game

TL;DR: Game is hard, but worth the effort
Either work hard or you might aswell quit -McHammer
