Seriously though, this game is huge fun with the most friendly online multiplayer I've seen in over a decade.

Great remaster, good nostalgia, nice additions, true to the original, still not green.

Not fun, one-dimensional mess with a stale meta and multiple glaring gameplay issues. The game is only memorable for people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around "all the time" (almost never unless someone is recording) which you could do in legitimately ANY other multiplayer game. Mindlessly frustrating, low skill ceiling.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over again, expecting better loot drops.

I love this game, but I'm sure it'd be much more popular (and therefore populated) if it wasn't $60 USD.

Either way, it's good fun.

Great fun if you can find a good server, though it's not for the arachnophobic.

This is an update of an old review to say that the collection is solid, if not a bit buggy at times with a pretty generic UI.

I stopped playing the games after Reach; so 4 means little to me, but I've many happy memories with CE, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach itself.

If I had to say, my favorite moment with Halo as a whole wasn't even in-game, but at the launch of Halo 2 back in 2004. I remember staying up all night just to buy the game, and playing pretty much nonstop with my buddies for longer than I can even remember at this point.

My thanks especially to Marty the Elder for the years of great music & memorable sound design.

Anyway, thanks for reading. It's pretty good, despite the few faults.

Probably the best fighter out there so far in the year of our Lord 2020, play it yourself and you'll see why.

I really love BLOOD, but please hold off on buying this until they fix the multiple major glaring issues. and this is looking to become the premier port after various fixes.

For now, stick with the GDX port or another means that works.

EDIT: They've addressed quite a few of the issues with today's (05/14/19) patch, but many still remain. The game's boot time is now well over a minute for me, among other current issues. I can't wait until they address these.

EDIT 2: Changing my review to a positive recommendation after feeling more optimistic about their updates.
