Early Access Review
Now having more than 200 hours in this game, it's certainly in the list of my most played games.

In short, it's basically the first and remains one of very few survival games I like. The Long Dark is original in a crowded genre. No zombies. Only the Canadian winter, wildlife, and some big maps. Starting with close to nothing, the player will be able to craft tools and clothes, acquiring food by scavenging, fishing and hunting all while managing with the changing conditions of the frozen outdoors.

Having witnessed the evolution from the first Early Access build to the current state, this is one of those games that did it right. Starting with only a sandbox mode, which received many content updates, we now have challenges and a story campaign is upcoming.

Many hours of fun to be had.

A town building game, focused on the survival aspect. Starting with a little group of people with limited supply on a procedurally generated map, the goal is to create a self sufficient town first, and from that, increasing the size of the town while maintaining a balance of supply and demand.

Many types of food, clothes, tools and resources are simulated in the game. For a town to be successful, enough food must be produced. For that, having quality tools helps. In order to make those tools, resources like iron, coal and wood are needed. Education also contribute to the effectiveness of the workers. The layout of the town is also quite important, making sure the people don't live too far from their work and don't need to go too far to get food.

The time goes so fast while playing this game. Always something to add, to improve or to fix in the town to keep that fine balance of supply and demand. It's a very addictive game.

Planetside 2 is a first person shooter game on a scale rarely seen before. We are talking about multiple continents, huge territories, multiple bases (small and big) all over the maps. A great selection of weapons, attachments, vehicles and cosmetic customization.

A distinctive feature of Planetside 2 is of course the huge battles that take place with hundreds or even thousands of players. The war is never ending. That makes PS2 very addictive because as opposed to a round based game, there is no downtime. There is always a battle somewhere to participate and hours can go pretty fast.

When putting the settings at max, the Forgelight engine looks very good. It makes Planetside 2 a very immersive and stunning game. At night, the light effects caused by the missiles and tracers are impressive. The sound quality is also very good, especially with surround.

It is a free to play game and from my personal experience, the starting gear is more than good enough to be able to fight competitively against people who dropped some cash. In general, all weapons can be unlocked overtime anyway, without necessarily paying. Cosmetics are bought with Sony's Station Cash.

All in all a great FPS game, complex, satisfying, with a good gun play.

A good flight game designed to appeal those who want a simple flying experience (cockpit-less aircraft, mouse and keyboard controls) as well as those who want a more realistic simulation (full cockpit planes, joystick support). Note however that this is not a commercial aviation simulator like Flight Simulator. This game is focused on general aviation.

Very beautiful and detailed scenery, impressive weather engine and flight model, many missions and challenges to complete, many aerocaches to find.

A lot of hours can be put in this game.

Really high quality game. Nice story, nice puzzles, nice graphics and a nice coop mode.

One thing though, and that's the nature of a puzzle game, is the replayability can be limited. However, Portal 2 have the perfect solution via a puzzle maker and workshop support. The content for the game becomes near infinite!

I was surprised. That's normally not my type of game. But damn this is addictive.

It doesn't cost much (especially not in sales). There is a lot of content, many items to find, huge procedurally generated worlds on which many hours can be spent exploring and killing. It is fun to start from basically nothing, build a little wooden house and from there, work to find ingredients to craft more evolved gear continually.

Additionally, those who are creative and patient will like to build beautiful houses and castles.

A very addictive coop game in which you can execute some well planed heists but watch out for the cops!

We could say that the number of maps is limited but I personally never got bored replaying the heists. A great deal of randomness in the events make it so that it is fun every time, especially when playing with new people online without knowing how they will react.

Pure fun! As simple as that.

Team Fortress 2 is one of those game that can be played simply to have a great time and not stressing about performance and stats.

The universe of TF2 is humorous, with great and funny characters. It is an accessible game, skill wise, hardware wise and price wise (free to play).

At this point, there is a huge number of different maps, game modes (pvp and coop) and of course, a whole lot of cosmetic customization (hats!).

One of the best online FPS I've played. Very great coop game.

I find the gunplay very satisfying. There is a great selection of maps and weapons. When playing with a good team, it is a very great experience.
