Gameplay:
+overall gun mechanics
+base guns r fun
+graphics r better
+color palette is spot on
-pay-to-win economy (DLC guns >>> reg shop guns)
-cars/planes are ass (2x as usual)
-random physics engine contradictions causes serious mission fail-level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (I had to restart some SIDE-missions 5+ times)
-buildings/mission levels snooze fest compared to far cry 4
-autistic film bloom/glare effects (literally unplayable at times when coming out of caves/dark rooms)
-hunting/crafting turned to ♥♥♥♥
-NPCs still ♥♥♥♥, doesnt matter how many you throw at me
-hard mode unplayable, you become bullet sponge and 3 hit kill at any range
-inconsistent performance issues in different resolutions/quality settings. make sure you play around those.

Story:
-pozzed like a mf
-♥♥♥♥-tier characters
-lots of duplicate characters, even in the main storyline
-cringe anti-trump subliminal messaging
-extremely retarded anti-gun subliminal messaging (context: Im playing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FPS where Im supposed to liberate a big chunk of land without any state/publicly-funded help. Why are NPCs telling me its because of how violent our country is and how its all gun's fault? Too many political contradictions)
-use of "they": wait, what did you say? What does that mean... ohhhh you mean me.
-cult religion never explored, instead we have to assume its christian sub-sect, even though they hate the bible? (john seed ♥♥♥♥♥ on bible at some point).
+Waow muh side missions
-almost all main quests feel like boring long grindy/chorey side missions.

Redeeming factor to this game? Far Cry Arcade and hard guns make the missions/gun play fun. .308 bolt-action ftw. also the faith storyline is better than the other two iirc.

Ive purchased this game in 2014 after complaining to my father that my core2quad and GTX570 wasnt powerful enough to play any of the titles that I wanted to play (at the time it was Far Cry 4, which I actually could play but my parents refused to let me). My dad allowed me to purchase any game I wanted as long as it was under 40$... and so my quick search to find something I would enjoy got me to this: The Crew.

What hasnt been said about this game? Its a very basic racing game which tries to convey its marketing "drive anywhere in USA" loads of times EVEN while playing the game and I remember that pissing me off the day I realized I wasnt actually playing in a map 1:1 with real life US (Yes I went to my town and saw that it didnt even exist!)... As a 13 year old, that pissed me the **** off. I also thoroughly hated the fact that this game played HORRIBLY on keyboard and I would have probably been able to finish the game if I had a controller at the time.... too bad. I also remember not being able to choose the cars I actually enjoyed, this game seems to have a serious lack of car choices and really only has modern american sports cars (which in my opinion totally breaks the point of a car MMO, typically games that are meant to be played with other players is customization first and everything else later)... and even at that it was poor.

What else? Some missions I remember being absolutely broken, graphics were quite blurry at times due to the poor rendering system they used (Watch Dogs had the same problem idk if thats related) and the game became utterly pointless once its puny pitiful community left.

Now the game has a sequel. You know what I think of that title? Its horribly bad. What happened to the makers of Test Drive Unlimited? the amount of detail of that game was ridiculous, and this game barely gave me an accurate model of a 2005 Ford GT. As a guy who enjoys cars, Im thoroughly confused why "arcade" car games can mess up on so many aspects of a CAR game.

Overall, it was fun for the first 5h of having a new game.... it got boring REAL fast. If you want a good street racing title, you're not gonna find it here. I suggest Test Drive Unlimited (1 or 2), Need For Speed Carbon (boss fights are better than in underground), Forza Horizon 2/3/4, Grid Autosport (good for 1v1 touge)... and Im probably forgetting some. FORGET THE CREW. PLAY SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!

as a kid growing up with Lego adventure titles (starting with Lego Island Xtreme Stunts and Lego Bionicle followed by Lego Star Wars, probably one of my favourite games when I was 5), there are so many memorable ones. This is definitely up there in terms of memorable but also with good replay value. Ive beaten this game multiple times over the years and even though the newer Batman titles or even other licensed Lego Adventure game titles might be better in certain aspects, it felt like this one's simplicity combined with its new mechanics from previous titles gave it a breath of fresh air whilst still sticking to the original Lego Adventure game recipe. For the record, I would have probably enjoyed the later Lego Batman titles but I was too busy playing my Call of Duties, my Quake Onlines, my Counter-Strikes, my Garry's mods and so on. Lego Batman was simple enough for my adult self to delve in without feeling choked by the game's story or immersion, and for that I truly appreciated it (and for one of the last times). Once I take a look at Lego Island series, Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 on mac and a couple more titles including the newer Lego Worlds title, I think I will retire the Lego series until I pass it on to the next generation. Hope any of you whipper snappers have fun with this one as I did.

So all I have to say is as long as the community is alive, this game is a must on Steam. This is the gateway game for PC owners for most people, hell if I didn't buy this game, I would've never gone back to PCs (well I used to game on a iMac G3 but whatever)...

Hey guys let's talk about this game for a bit.

This is the very first GTA many of us OG players have played on their little PS1s. It showed us that the world was more than: "do what you're told son" and it takes you on a journey of self-psychological discovery.

When exploring the world, you'll notice that the graphics aren't great, and that turns off many players that have bought this just to say you own it. Worry not, back in 2001, the developpers somewhat knew it wouldn't age that well! The game then and made sure that the cartoonish style is funny-looking, you can tell with the personas that are depicted in the game!

It's all in good fun, and I think in 2018 this game has aged better than GTA 5!!!!!

It's a great game at its core (Probably from an age radius of 10+). It's really fun and it practices aim (for trickshots and one taps too). I really like what they've done with the building mechanics, Blocks and shooting feels good together in this game. I hope they add more vehicles, mechanisms + machines and more gamemodes. Although it's a great game at its core, recently I couldn't play the game because of the servers. There weren't that many servers which I could play on back when I did, and recently the game just doesn't show the servers, so I can't play the game. I hope they fix this so that I could finally reach to higher guns. Other complaints are the lack of weaponry, I feel the need to buy weapons and such because the starting weapons are really bad and compared to the guns purchasable, they're all not worth. What I enjoyed with this game was the amount of time it took to level up and the skill it could take to get there. At the end of my first 30 hours or so on the game, I could one shot anyone at basically any distance. I also enjoy most maps, with their variety of strategies. Another complaint was the lack of servers in NA, because of that, I was not able to play on good servers since late 2014. Basically, the things they really need to upgrade is the weaponry system, maybe making most weapons skill-based instead of simply buying them. Skins, nades and certain weapons could be purchasable (the guns could be found in the game). This would make the game much better.
