It's nineteen years later and this game still remarkably holds up.

Early Access Review
I've barely played any other game since I've gotten this; I've barely done anything. For years I've been looking for a game like this, almost none has come close to this. If you wanna build a bigass complicated factory this is the game for you.

As someone who exclusively buys games on sale, pay full price; this masterpiece ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worth it.

Forget Minecraft and uninstall Tekkit, this is the best game about mining. Period.

Endless piles of loot? Check.
Fun and interesting NPCs? Check.
Diffrent classes for diffrent playstyles? Check.
Easy and awesome Co-op with friends/randos? Check.
Farming? Check.
DLC I actually want to buy? Check.
Can run on a potato? CHECK.
Hardmode and EXTRA-HARDMODE? Check.

GAMEPLAY 10/10

CONS!
Watch out for Loot Ninjas!
Customization could be better.
artstyle (I like it, but some people don't)
Paying for extra levels.
Black market prices can stack up fast.
The Hentai monster at the end of the game. ♥♥♥♥ him (then get me some damn loot)

Left 4 Dead 2, a game filled with zombies, pills and the occasional jar of puke, oh how I love thee

If you have played the first Left 4 Dead then you pretty much know the gameplay style and feel. You are one of four survivors who must make their way to an escape by gunning down countless infected zombies all the while collecting pills, medkits and various tools. The big difference is that you now can play using melee weapons such as a crowbar (so you know its a valve game.) frying pans, cricket bats and.....dlldo swords? ( thank you modding community, you really go the distance.) The game is somewhat straightforward just follow the pathways to get from safehouse to safehouse. The safehouses by the way have some pretty great graffiti, I don't want to spoil it too much but its something fun to read during setup stages.

Not only does this game include all new campaigns but it also has all the old ones from the first. (if you haven't bought the first one don't bother just buy this.) Many talented people on the Steam Workshop have made custom maps and missions so the murderous mayhem will never end!

The Modding community has really kept this game alive, if you can get past all the ponies and anime junk you might just find the mod for you. some of my favorites include the Shrek tank, Teletubbie infected and of course DEADPOOL! Browse around to find something you like, not all of it is MLP dildo swords.

If you are so lucky to have friends play this game with them! Online Mode with randoms really doesn't cut it, I wouldn't play online unless you wanted to be vote kicked for no reason. Friends make any game better.

Overall I do recommend this title. Just stay clear of the Witches and ponies and you should be in the clear.

The Stanley Parable is more of an artpiece than an actual game. In this "game," you play as Stanley (OR DO YOU?) You have to make Choices (OR DO YOU?) and lastly look at ferns (you do, spoilers.)

The game is totally worth getting on a steam sale or as a gift from a friend, if you really want to see what the fuss is all about with this just wait for another sale.

Gameplay wise you mainly listen to the narrator's commentary, explore an office and experience the adventure that is the Stanley Parable. There are many different endings that will have you retracing your steps to find them all for hours. "The broom closet is my favorite." If you have found all the endings the game may get a bit boring after a while, show it to a friend and see their reactions for some fun.

It may not be the action adventures with zombies and aliens (or is it?) but its a fun experience that more people should try out. I recommend this game. If you guys need me I will be in Room 427.
