10/10.

After 51 hours and completing 100%, I can say this is easily one of the best games in this genre. Simply beautiful, pretty challenging and great level design. There's a certain freedom in how you can move through the level based on what you're riding. And the physics is so satisfying, from big air jumps to gnarly crashes, it's simply *chef's kiss*. The cosmetics, simple but good enough for a game like this.

The only (hardly any) cons of this game is the very small things where you could crash on random and random hit points which could interrupt the time runs, etc. The other con would possibly be the game leaving you wanting for more. Having said that, there is one paid DLC which is awesome and three free DLCs and which which released this November, so it seems like they're still releasing content 2 years after release. I hope they keep continuing and I would definitely love a sequel.

Awesome game for anyone who loves skateboarding. It has a bit steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

8.5/10.

If only the physics and animations like picking up the board, etc, it will be perfect.

Great game for its time. Decent story arc but kinda gets pointless towards the end.

Gameplay is decent at best, but a good set piece for the 1940s. Driving is kinda tough but fun.

BUT

DO NOT PLAY THE DLCS. IT IS HOT GARBAGE. Only even bother with it if you genuinely enjoy the open world. Personally I had enough of the open world playing the main story. Otherwise, I'd just stick to watching youtube walkthroughs for the story.

What more is there to say? It's Steam VR. You don't have much of a choice either.

I actually went into this universe with Witcher 3 which is one of the few games which is closest to perfection. Went ALL THE WAY BACK to Witcher 1 and was mind blown with the vision they have had in their minds for decades. Still are blowing my mind with their vision. Bravo CDPR!

25 hours in and I've only completed Chapter 1. Compared to Witcher 1, the difference is night and day, an overhaul of everything. Verticality in environments, better 3d models and environments, better animation and cutscenes, better combat (except with the signs), better dialogue and more varied dialogue. I don't know what major/minor choices I'm making half the time cause it's so interwoven to track properly. Overall a beautiful overall and you can see the details they were able to add with the switch to their own independent engine.

Skill tree wise, I personally prefer Witcher 1 (and I see how they've amazingly refined and redone the W1 style skill tree in W3). The fact that signs are all under one skill tree triggered me a lil bit. The mini games are the same except for the QTE in fist fights. Looks cool but doesn't feel as cool, but much better than W1 by a long shot. Not exactly a fan of the dark items video and audio filter, but that's only cause the game looks amazing and their music always be banging. I genuinely miss Roach in this as well. It's fine to jog around if it's just the main quests, with side quests and contracts it got a little annoying. Would've liked the sprint option at least.

Overall amazing game (so far) and a definite must play if you love the Witcher universe. And it's a lot more manageable than W1 so you don't have to worry all that much.

P.S: You can basically play Demon Souls kinda game if you put in dark mode. If you hate yourself even more, try the insane mode.

(10 Hour Playthrough Review)

Extremely ambitious right from the start with CDPR. After getting mindblown with WItcher 3 + expansions, coming to this, seeing them in their early roots is very fascinating.

The game is pretty badly aged mechanics and gameplay wise, there's not much to look forward to. But the story is where the trip is at. So much lore in every quest (mostly). I'm still grinding everything I can just cause of the story, so captivating. And the patterns I see them use here is so similar to W3 and I see how far they've expanded from small and humble roots.

I'm yet to starting crafting bombs, so idk how that would be, but so far, REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOD. The story melts away the little gripes I have with the game and melts away the old school ageing ♥♥♥♥ for me.

6/10 for mechanics just cause of the effort they put in, 8/10 for story, super intriguing, yet to finish so 8 is as far as I can go. If ya'll love Geralt and the Witcher universe, and can handle old school games, 100% WOULD RECOMMEND.

This game should really fix its vehicle bugs.

Would recommend to anyone who likes to mix luck with their play.
